if someone actually reads the 2 articles linked in post 1 (the source of all this here) a few things are obvious

1) the 2 suspects are not part of the 27 refugees mentioned. They are if part of anything, 2 of those still on the waiting list, figures running into thousands.
2) the 27 refugees accepted are predominantly Nepali
3) the 2 suspects are Turks

the headline of this thread is not covered by the facts, the 2 facts have nothing to do with each other

In another words, Muslim refugees end up being the ones causing problems, before they even got their permanent status as refuguees in Japan. What coincidence.

you apparently did not read the press articles you linked in your post.

link 2 called it a "gang rape" (what an ugly term) indicating there were even more men involved that these 2 Turkish guys (of which 1 might or might no have participated - evidence controversial) without any more nationalities indicated - since 1 or even 2 hardly justify being called a "gang" one might assume there were locals involved

again your statement is not based on the facts you posted yourself

Actually in Asia, if there is 2 people involve in a rape. They would already usually head line it gang rape.

Maybe in the west, they don't call it gang rape. But if it's more than 1, it's understood as gang rape around here.

Pew Research has a comprehensive chart country by country, how scary it is, that many countries have over 50% want Sharia laws.

I'd say it all average out to worldwide 60%.

This link summarise the Pew Research data.

Your first link mentions a pew poll....the link to the poll, doesnt go to pew, it has no verified link to any poll. Not believable.
Your second link is also bullshit. the "research, ONLY questioned 9000 people in six countries. Bullshit research methodology.
There is nothing in your pew link that says anything like what you claimed.. NOTHING
American thinker links to the same page my graphic was on that states ONLY the % Of muslims who want sharia law in their OWN country,

Lucy, anybody who wants sharia law at all, is a not a friend. Regardless in their own country or other countries. I'm saying 60% of muslims want sharia law!
And the fact that i know you will quake in your boots at the possibility of sharia law being implemented in your country, makes me very puzzled as to why do you defend muslims for believing in that horrid system.

But someone like you will probably condemn Nazis for believing in their system. And not so sympathetic towards people who are against Nazis.

To me, Muslims and Nazism are both ideology, and both CHOSE their ideology.

And there is nothing wrong in being against people who are support beliefs that are against your own beliefs.

Muslims and Liberals are the weirdest allies, since Muslims are all against gay marriage. And abortion is not legal in Islam.

The fact that you have referenced that site in an attempt to support "facts" tells me that you are either extraordinarily uneducated or so completely blinded by bigotry that you no longer recognize the difference between fact and opinion.

I reference a site that used statistic from an independent surveyor.

So end of the day, you may hate the site, just like libs will discredit anything from fox news as false. But the source isn't from website itself. They are simply quoting sources from independent surveyors. The one with real blind and bias hatred is you.

I hate the site because it deliberately lies and misrepresents things to push an agenda.

The site does NOT use a statistic from an independent surveyor. That link goes nowhere, as Lucy has already pointed out. Yet you're here quoting it as fact.

So you're either gullible and believed that crap or you're dishonest because you knew it was crap and said it anyway. There are no other alternatives. Which is it? Gullible or dishonest?

Gullible it is then.

Add stupid if you think Robert Spencer makes sense.

By the way:

http://thinkprogress.org/security/2011/07/25/278677/islamophobic-right-wing-blogger-breivi/

Yes, a terrorist (Anders Breivik) cited Spencers writings and "Jihadwatch" more than anything else in his rambling hate. The fact that you appear to believe Spencer makes sense makes me worry even more that one day you might commit some sort of terrorist act. You certainly appear to be fitting in the pattern quite nicely.

Okay, refer to page 12 of Pew Research HERE

Robert Spencer is a reliable author to me. I know he doesn't sprout fake sources. It could just be a dead link.

In addition, the survey finds that younger Muslim Americans – those under age 30 – are both much more religiously observant and more accepting of Islamic extremism than are older Muslim Americans. Younger Muslim Americans report attending services at a mosque more frequently than do older Muslims. And a greater percentage of younger Muslims in the U.S. think of themselves first as Muslims, rather than primarily as Americans (60% vs. 41% among Muslim Americans ages 30 and older).

Moreover, more than twice as many Muslim Americans under age 30 as older Muslims believe that suicide bombings can be often or sometimes justified in the defense of Islam (15% vs. 6%).

A pattern of greater acceptance of suicide bombing among young Muslim Americans corresponds with the Pew
Global Attitude Project’s findings among Muslims in Great Britain, France, Germany and Spain.

I also love how this survey confirms my opinion that the more religious observant a Muslim is, the more likely they got terrorist tendencies! Thus my point, I feel safest with Muslims who eat pork! And Pew Research also displays countries like Kazakhstan who has pork eating Muslims, majority do not want sharia laws. It all connects!
Survey also implies, Attend mosque more regularly = more extremism. Which I agree too!

Firstly, 15%, vs 6% believe that suicide bombings can be justified in defense of Islam? That means absolutely nothing. I bet if we asked random people if they would lay down their lives for America they'd say yes. Half the people here would, lets face it. What is the logical difference between someone willing to die for their country and someone willing to die for their culture?

Secondly, the survey does NOT imply that. Religious fundamentalism has found to be a negative predictor of terrorism (when one looks at actual terrorists instead of handing out surveys).

Thirdly, the fact is that Spencer talks hate speech and nothing else. That you find it at all agreeable says a whole lot about you personally.

Fourthly, I am disgusted with myself for getting involved in this thread. Really. I have an aversion to lies, and that's a personal problem I think, but in this case what the fuck am I doing? I am basically talking to someone who has a twig on his head and is claiming to be a tree. It doesn't matter how many times I counter with fact, logic, or even a basic appeal to humanity this individual only becomes more convinced of his treeness. WHY AM I DOING IT?

Fifthly, somebody please stop me.

Errrm... nope. That's not what it means. It would be fantastically stupid to draw that conclusion.

All it means is that 49% of US Native Born Muslims don't have a "very unfavorable opinion of al Qaeda"

This is serious denial.
When their culture harms women, regardless what the culture is, they are the enemy.
Not all culture should be respected, especially bad ones.
I mean, US used to have a culture to burn witches! I am glad we are not respecting that anymore!
We forced all the Christians to change their bad culture by condemning them. It really works. Look at Christian majority today. Much less terrible than the past.

Yet apparently, Muslims can't be criticised. They are special people.

How many females have led the USA?

How many females have led the largest Islamic states? (Bangladesh, Indonesia, India, Turkey of all places)?

Which culture was the first to allow females to become doctors? In fact, scratch that, which culture was the first to actually have hospitals?

Are you completely immune to facts? Did you accidentally glue an oculus rift to your face while you were playing Call of Duty?

Criticise Muslims all you like. Just don't make shit up or criticise them for things they don't do and don't believe.

Some Islamic nations have terrible female rights issues. THAT is why they should be condemned, not for merely being Islamic. The fact that women are not even allowed to drive in Saudi whilst being allowed to stand for election in Bangladesh proves to the rational mind that religion isn't the significant factor.

Here are the figures from the table on p. 5 of the Pew report (p. 11 in the PDF):

View of Al Qaeda Among Native-Born U.S. Muslims

Very unfavorable: 51%
Somewhat Unfavorable: 16%
Favorable: 7%
Don't Know/Refused to Answer: 26%

Also interesting:

Suicide Bombing Can Be Justified . . .

Often/Sometimes: 8%
Rarely/Never: 87%
Don't Know/ Refused to Answer: 5%

Going from these numbers to "49% of US Native Born Muslims supports Al Qaeda" is, to put it charitably, something of a leap.

Whether they believe it or not, they are supporting a religion THAT teaches IT!

Many people pick and choose what parts they like and don't like about what they want to follow about their religion.

But doesn't change that the religion is not teaching the right things.

So after the stringent vetting system and only choosing 27 out of 7500 people. Still no use!
Wait, isn't that completely in line with feminist dogma though? Men are rapists until they're educated. It's not the poor refugees' fault, they just hadn't had an opportunity to be taught not to rape!

Yes. That IS how stupid feminists are. Really.

Base on this, somewhat unfavorable is not a strong unfavorable. What does "somewhat unfavourable" mean? How can you be "unsure unfavourable" when it comes to Al qaeda?

Those who refuse to answer or don't know are clearly on the favorable platform. IF one is against Al Qaeda, who the hell would put their answer was don't know or refuse to answer. It's such a black and white thing, whether you support their cause or not.
