ORIGINAL: Wayward5oul To be fair Greta, most of us on this forum ask you the same question all the time. Except I always explain my logic, but nobody gets my logic. It's called having a different point of views! Growing up in different worlds can make one see things very differently too. People question for example Trump's temperament. Interestingly, the leader who built Singapore was not a calm man at all. He was hot tempered and fiery. Always lost his temper. But the story is that, his wife wrote all his speeches to make it more diplomatic for him and was by his side all the time, to put her hand on him and remind him to calm down when his about go crazy. It is said, without his wife, he would have fuck it all up because he had a terrible temper he couldn't control. Their love story is amazing, because, she kicked his ass in grades in the University they attended together, initially, he resented her because he couldn't beat her, used to get really frustrated, trying to beat her, but in the end decide to marry her and her intelligence have came in handy. She was a lawyer like him. Towards the end, when his wife became completely paralyzed from stroke, he refused to let anybody nurse her but himself. He fed her, clean her up, insisted on doing everything himself and personally care for her all the way. All his life, he never lift a finger to do any domestic work, he came from a rich family too, was personally serving his wife hand and foot when she became invalid. Great love story there. But despite all that, I'd say he would have said alot of things that would have outrage Americans. Something like, men should not marry stupid women, or they will have stupid kids. Basically telling men that uneducated women are not worth marrying, they should only go for University graduates. Things like that. He says it in parliament. He also said Muslims can never integrate because they refuse sit on the same dining table as everybody else. Which I think in the west, there will be outrage. Trump is closest to our leader who made a success out of our country.
