ORIGINAL: WinsomeDefiance Off topic, but your term "Feminine Logic," which could also be considered intuitive processing, is not why a computer generates incorrect results, it is because the machine and/or programmer have failed to bridge the intuitive and logical gap allowing a machine to not just process data but to allow it to learn and intuit often conflicting or seemingly circular logic based off intuition etc. If you really do not have even the most elementary knowledge about computer systems, it was not a good idea to blame yourself by telling such bullshit to a former IT professional. In the software world, there is the notion of artificial intelligence. But inside a computer, there are electronic circuits which have a characteristic that can have one of two values, which we use to represent with the binary digits 0 and 1. That's really all there is. Not the computer, but we, human beings, combine such elements to be able to assign useful information to their states. But a computer itself, the machine, as we know it today, will never be able to learn something. quote:
Using a term like Femine Logic, does in fact show that you do not understand women. It isn't an insult, it just means you haven't accepted that intuitive processing doesn't take the same synaptic processing path as a purely logical mathematical processor would. I clearly stated the difference between the generic use of the term feminine logic and the fact that I only use it to not bluntly say to a woman that she is talking bullshit. Besides: I understand women much more than you think, but to the extend to which I don't understand them, I accept them like they are, respecting the mystery. It's sad that, instead of trying to add something worthfull to the thread, you just came to vent your frustrations.
