didnt read everything here but the zoo is legaly at fault since a four year old could defeat their protection which means there was never any protection in the first place.

Legally they are liable and their own insurnace company may not pay because they have a duty to keep the simplest of people out of the gorilla enclosure and if a four year old can get past their protection then its childs play.

As for killing the girilla, the crowd was screaming so loud that it was upsetting the gorilla and what I saw the gorilla wsa being gentle but everyone seays he can squish the kids head like a green coconut so he had to be put down fast and a bullet is fast.

The kid suffered a concussion from the fall and scratches so the mother will mostly likely sue the zoo and I am sure teh lawhyers have called her up already offereing free lawsuits where all shee needs to do is recieve 1 tenth of the proceedings.

The zoo will setle out of court because they cannot win but luckily for them and too bad for the lawyers that the kid wasn't paralized because they can only get so much for emotional trama to the four year old kid and mdiecial, bills.

Too bad.
if the kid was paralized the mom would have made out like a bandit.

I know poor kid's life is at stake, but if he got eaten by bears or wolves, it would even be funnier!

I get it. Shock and awe. It rubbed off on you. Have you put your hand into a blender and turned it on?

I imagine that would give you a small taste of what it must feel like for a kid getting ripped to shreds by a predator.

Should I ever laugh at such then I will consider that I, truly, have no soul.

I wonder if that will lead to more litigation-happy fuckwits taking their kids to zoos and trying to stuff their brood into animal enclosures?

NRA seeks to prevent further Zoo tragedies with call to arm Gorillas

Wayne Lapierre, NRA, shooting, Gorilla
The National Rifle Association has today insisted the tragic death of Harambe the seventeen-year-old Gorilla could have been avoided had Harambe been allowed to exercise his second amendment rights.

NRA spokesperson Wayne Lapierre said the only way to avoid tragic shootings inside Zoos is to make sure there are more guns available to those involved.

He told reporters, “If someone is pointing a rifle at you, even though you’ve done absolutely nothing wrong, then you should be able to defend yourself.

“I guarantee that poor gorilla would still be here today if he had been carrying a side-arm, or kept a rifle of his own within reach.

“Anyone would think twice about opening fire on a Gorilla if you thought it might shoot back.”

“Of course, in Cincinnati, you need a permit to conceal a side-arm, and who is going to give a permit to a gorilla – even though it’s his constitutional right. It’s time to hold President Obama accountable.”

Others have been quick to criticise the authorities who were extremely keen to discharge their weapons during the incident.

As one anti-violence campaigner told us, “This is yet another tragic teenager shot by the authorities for no good reason, when will this cycle of violence end?

Oh good, a gun thread. And while we're at it we need to preserve the right to keep and arm bears.

I have zero emotional connection to this kid, so I don't feel anything if this kid get eaten by animals. Or even if an adult got eaten by animals. I mean, there was this polar bear whisperer who got eaten by polar bears and I thought it was funny.

I see a kid as someone who can't make decisions for themselves. The parents made the decision for the kid. So whatever happen to the kid is a non-factor. So the funny part is the retribution to the parents for abandoning the kid out there in the first place. As they made that choice for him. That's why it's funny.

Yes, Greta, this is what I understood you to mean with your earlier posts on this thread. Which is why I said it was heartless and lacking in humanity. Which I believe is why other posters made reference to your mental state and other such remarks. I think most everyone understands exactly what you meant from the beginning, and each subsequent post serves only to reinforce those opinions.

Well, I certainly do not believe I am heartless and lacking in humanity.

But personally, I don't try to give hypocritical concern to a child I do not personally know and I am not responsible for his plight.

There are gazillion children who are suffering worst fates out there. And I'm not gonna pretend to care for each and every of them like you are guys are pretending to be holier than thou.

Also, unlike alot of people. I never view death as a negative thing ever. I view sexual abuse as worst than death. But dying, not a bad thing to happen to anyone. Dying affects the people around the dead person more than the dead person themselves. In this specific case. It's going to affect the offenders.

Don't be so hard on yourself. There are alot of stupid human tricks. Als, I like reading the Darwin awards.

It's not nice when it happens to a kid, but really deserving recipients of Darwin award, unfortunately, do reproduce. Not nice, but with Parents that stupid you think they were going to grow up to be rocket scientists ?

If some bizarre tragedy makes you laugh, laugh.

You're almost as sociopathic as I am, and that is saying something. I am surprised you can be happy in a place with so many laws. If I got busted for everything I did I would be in jail for 100 years.

Get ahold of me if you ever intend to come to Ohio.

T^T

Greta75 -> RE: Should parents who do not keep an eye on their kid get some kind of penalty? (5/31/2016 7:21:56 PM)

But the laws in place does not affect my freedom in any way or keep me from achieving my goals and dreams. I mean, chewing gum, big shit? I don't even like gum. And when I think about it. US has underage drinking at 21. We have it at 18. We are more lenient than the US!

Plus anyway, I am someone who goes hiking all the time. IF I see any wild animals. Even a poisonous snake that venom could kill you within an hour or a family of wild boars. I always go up close and try to touch it. I would put my hands through other people's gates to pet their guard dog, who is suppose to be ferocious. But personally, I think the dog can sense if I am enemy or not. I have had huge dogs growl at me and I still move forward and pet them believe they will understand I mean no harm. I never been attack by an animal before, except rescuing feral stray cats where I am trying to give them a bath. Now that's understandable. They would rain full hell on me for that. I have approached wild boar babies, with the mom right infront of me to pet their baby. I have approach wild monkeys, also to pet their babies.

I love animals. And if I got eaten by an animal. I wouldn't even blame them as it's their nature and my choice to interact with them and take the risk. And because I choose to take these risk, it is most highly plausible that my death will be eaten by a wild big cat, because I love big cats so much and will very likely try to interact with them in the wild if I meet one. And if it's comical to people, it wouldn't bother me. Because I can see the comedy in it.

The mountains I hike in have wild elephants and tigers roaming freely too.

Greta75 -> RE: Should parents who do not keep an eye on their kid get some kind of penalty? (5/31/2016 7:35:13 PM)

Talking about this boy lost in the woods. It's been 4 days. Boy has not been found.
Lots of speculation that parents were still not being totally honest about what exactly happened. And high plausible that the parents have murdered their own child. And started this to cover their tracks.

I also wonder why can't they just send sniffer dogs to do this search. More effective.

And 4 days, this could be jungle book where his adopted by the bears and taken care of, or he'll be wild life meat by now.

"I never been attack by an animal before, except rescuing feral stray cats where I am trying to give them a bath."

Cat not like bath. We know that here. to give cat bath you put soap in toilet, throw cat in and flush twice while standing on lid. When done, open the door and then the lid and GTFO of the way. The cat will return when hungry or you open a can of tuna.

I kinda wear the scratches they give me as battle scar pride hah!

I mean, it's a nightmare even to attempt to cut their nails. My own cats that I raised, are all docile and loves taking bathes. I just jump into the shower, switch it on, and they would all jump in with me happily! I have more problems keeping them away from water now. I just turn on the tap on the sink or on my shower, and they will jump under the water!

But feral adult cats are something else. They seriously hate water! I used to always bear so many scratches all over my arm that friends were concern I was slitting myself. But all cat inflicted.

So, you are invested enough in this child's misfortune to find it amusing, but not invested enough to find it sad?
That makes no sense to me!

Cats' claws are not dead matter like fingernails, they got nerves up to the tip.
Cutting these (I do not know who invented that barbarism) feels for them like getting your teeth clipped off with pincers for you.

Do not do it - just don't. It is torture.
