the common element between a border wall and the garden wall, and security measures at a convention being pretty much the same---keeping elements which are found to be harmful, undesirable, disruptive, etc, out. the latter two are essentially smaller versions of the bigger one. perhaps address that?

Right after you address how temporary security measures at a convention are equivalent to a permanent wall across a national border. (One obvious difference is there's little doubt that there will be some security at the Democrat convention, whereas Flump's wall is about as likely as him nuking Aberdeen if he gets voted in.)

We could fix a whole lotta problems if we made the whole country a National Special Security Event (NSSE). we'll start with Phil. and then we'll like put the whole country inside such an event with a like a big permanent wall on the southern border and like...get the 'protestors' (Mexico) to pay for it.
