Quite the contrary on both of your first two points. I've never said they all are, but I've been familiar with and interacted with numerous actual officers who will tell you the same things. If they want to be well trained, unless they're with SWAT, they have to do it themselves, and not that many are so inclined. As to military training, at least in the last few decades, firearms training is minimal, a couple of steps above "point the end with the hole in it toward the enemy". Unless, once again, you get a special MOS like Rangers or Seals.

Now, civil seizure is something we can agree on wholeheartedly, but in my case, once again, it's a punishment without due process issue. And yes, they waste that money on pretty toys that they're so proud of they have to show them off.

My daughter once challenged a sailor home on leave to a PPC match. With a .45. He lost. She was 10. (To those who do know guns: she was using weak handloads. 4.1 grains of bullseye? Custom gun, cut springs, really really smooth, oiled frame-to-slide fit)

I shot PPC for five years. There were exactly three cops in the state who could hang with me. No one in the southern part of WV could shoot A-class against the civilians.

People who think cops can shoot:
1. Don't know cops
2. Don't know people who can shoot

Dude I am talking about his current wife and NOT his x-wife, the current wife was fully aware about his killing spree plans and authorities are on the fence whether to press charges against her or not. I mean, it's clear cut to me, that IF you know someone has murder plans and do not report it, that's abetting a murderer isn't it? I don't know why they are even considering it when she has confessed to it.

Fact Check:

* Wasn't a 5.56 cal AR 15. It was 7.62x39mm Sig MCX

* No, only one terrorist in the club. But yes, 2 shooters were heard because off duty cop was working as guard at door and exchanged fire with shooter.

* Yes, he had a helper, but not at the club that night. His wife previously helped him case both Disney and the Pulse as targets for his terrorist attack.

* No, he didn't have terrorist helpers at the club. Two assholes that were patrons of the club inadvertently helped him. They ran out of the club and held the door shut behind them, trapping and killing people in the club despite screams heard through the door pleading to get out. They didn't open the door because they heard the shots getting closer and were afraid the shooter would come out and shoot them too.

According to witnesses in the club, some of the calls were to TV stations because he was trying to get air time for his ISIS propaganda.
