I like your thinking! That said, I vaguely remember a case against WBC running aground on the First Amendment. It was one of those instances in which I could see both sides.

And, though I may be wrong they won on thier right to protest but not any right to deliberately inflict emotional torment on family members. Law enforcement in Pennsylvania (the Amish massacare) the Sheriff made them move to a point out of sight of the funeral. Also the non Amish farmers reminded WBC that unlike the Amish they were not pacifists and that they would take extreme umbrage at any attempt to disrupt the funeral, they missed the funeral because they were outside "explaining things" to WBC and the cops did not interfer with the conversation. You have the right to protest but you do not have the right to go to a little girls funeral with a sign that says "It good shes dead because she will spend less time in Hell".

FR - Jumpthrough : I am waiting for something to happen. I am surprised that something did not happen at Ronnie James Dio's funeral. I am sure there were a bunch of biker types there and it is reasonable to assume that some of them had guns. you know how easy it is to cover the license plate on a motorcycle, kill a bunch of those asshole and drive away like really fast ? And the cops can't catch you on a motorcycle, known fact. Assholes go and shoot up schools, army bases, grocery stores, everything but police stations, gun stores and hillbilly bars. (when the sign says no guns allowed they just ignore it) Why don't they go to these "events" where WBC decides to show up ? Kill them all and say "Sue me now bitches" and leave town at 100 MPH. The cops will not chase you at 100 MPH. They will radio ahead but if your battery is out of your cellphone you really can get away with it. I am not saying go out and do this, I am saying that I am surprised that nobody has so far. And regular people, Parents "We didn't want him to be Gay, and now he is dead, what the fuck more do you assholes want ?". Someone is bound to start shooting sooner or later. This is the US. This is not England or Singapore, we got a bunch of nuts, and sane people who are about fed the fuck up with this kind of shit. From what I hear, a good piece of WBC's funding comes from lawsuits. Well I got one thing to say - THE DEAD DO NOT SUE YOU. You know I cannot stand the idea of being Gay, but the people who do have just as much rights as me. The businesses would have to have a list of the memebers and would be accused of starving the children. On the other hand I used to work for a Chirstian supplyl business and we refused to do business with the "church". Kind of wish I lived where they are though. Even though I am not gay there would be regular gay pride marched up and down the street during thier services.
