I think everybody should be allowed to vote, remove any age hurdle but make people pass a test so that you can be sure they know at least the basics, some people actually thought is was a freaking bi-election or that we'd automatically would get a new general election if Cam resigns.

So... are ALL the French racist bigots too? They banned the burka with a slogan "France first, religion second". They have pride in their culture and way of life and wanted to help preserve it. So much so, they enacted laws to outlaw clothing which goes against it. I daresay that not all the French agreed with it, but it's now part of French Law. The BNP and EDL are against coloured immigrants because they aren't white and for no other reason. I make no such distinction.

Some are. But the majority appear to be against coloureds for some reason. That's probably because they are easier to spot among the crowds.

But you're right. I don't think that he has any intention of invoking article 50. But the rest of the EU member states really don't like us right now, and I don't think we're going to get a choice.

I think Clegg accepting a role as Cameltoe's gimp in the brokeback coalition has fucked up anybody even vaguely left leaning taking the libdem's seriously ever again, sadly. Lucy, people seem to forget just how many waves of Polish immigrants have come into this country before the Express and Murdoch started pissing and moaning about former soviet union countries joining the EU. Joseph Conrad was a Pole, FFS, and a load more came over after the first world war. I was in school with a girl whose grandfather came over then, and she had a much more REP accent than I could ever aspire to...

If Laobour could get rid of the Blairites and stop the infighting, they could give the Tories a good hammering but seriously, the Labour Leave ones almost made me want to tear up my membership card
