Melania said she wrote most of the speech herself. But it was vetted. So whoever vetted didn't double check or occur to that person it could have similarity to any other First Lady's speeches.
All this means is Michelle and Melania has the same values.
Also If you think about it. Michelle is a lawyer. Melania is a model.
I don't expect Melania to be super awesome at speeches. English is not even her first language. She had the same values as Michelle and how many ways are there to say the same things anyway?
