Does he really wants to win, or he is driving his campaign over the edge...wether he is working for hillary or just isnt capable enough to withstand the pressure...do you think his campaign is going to last to november?

How long before the GOP is so worried they find a back up or if it happens will they go with Pence?

This isnt meant to be partisan, yeah I know it sounds like it. but truly, arent you guys even a little worried about his outbursts since the Convention? ?
I have never seen anything like this on a public setting, I doubt many of us have, no matter the party or candidate?

Im seriously thinking that he is in some kind of trouble and needs help. And I dont wish that on anyone.
Id like some serious answers, but yeah, I get the probability of open skepticism or ire.

I think he will run the course on the election. If elected he will probably resign on day 101

He needs a team of mental health professionals and strong medication.

I'm dubious that will he will even think of dropping out until he can contrive some way to make his inability to deal with the situation he's placed himself in look like somebody else's fault, rather than his own.

I have thought all along that even if he should happen to win (though I don't see how) there is no way he would last 4 years. He would either:

a-resign because he can't run the country as a dictator like he does his businesses
b-he would be impeached
c-somebody will get fed up with his BS and do the world a favor
or
d-he would start a nuclear war and destroy the world

Do you think the GOP as a whole will be ok with that? will they coalesce? will they fracture further?
I do NOT see him going without a fight, but what will be the result for them as a party?
Im guessing no one has a definitive answer, but i am just askin:)

He will drop out just before the election. He is getting free advertizing at the moment.

Does "boycott my businesses, I'm a racist, misogynistic, self important twat who doesn't deserve your, or anybody else's money" count as advertising? I'd have thought his campaign to date looks more like a commercial suicide note.

Why do you think he's getting close to the Russians? No US bank will fund his projects anymore after his bankruptcies and credit defaults. He needs to cozy up to the oligarchs and their cash reserves to save his businesses.

I think he wants to win; he hates losing, so I feel his campaign will go to the end.

If elected, I agree that no one has the answer. But it might pull the party together thru Pence. There rreally is n o telling until if/when it happens.

According to a report in today's Guardian, GOP heavyweights are already plotting intervening in Trump's campaign:

"[I]n recent days, as Trump has continued to pursue a feud with the parents of a Muslim American soldier killed in combat in Iraq, pointedly refused to endorse Republican House speaker Paul Ryan and 2008 GOP nominee John McCain in their primary elections and suggested that November’s election would be rigged, his conduct has led to a number of reports that top Republicans may be attempting an intervention and that top Trump campaign staffers have been “frustrated”, “suicidal” and now “mailing it in”.

According to the Associated Press, citing a Republican official with direct knowledge of Priebus’ plans, the RNC chairman may join a small group of well-respected Republicans to confront Trump in the coming days. The plan is not final, but the official says the group may include former House speaker Newt Gingrich and former New York mayor Rudy Giuliani, both Trump allies. Priebus has already been speaking with Manafort and the billionaire’s children, who are said to agree that Trump needs to stop picking fights within his own party and back off his criticism of the Khan family."

I'm just sitting back enjoying the spectacle of the Right wing train wreck. This year's train wreck promises to put previous train wrecks into the shade. Compared to Trump McCain and Romney look like a candidates of genius and look what happened to them ......

Maybe ... maybe ... there's a way of Trump being President, but having no de facto power at all. No?

Trump is not gonna drop out. Gosh all these left media propaganda. And I'm disappointed with any Right politicians who did not defend his context about the his comment of the Muslim dude's wife.

Everybody says he attacked a fallen hero. He did no such thing. I bet nobody could find a single word that Trump said negatively about this fallen soldier's sacrifice for the country.

And Trump has never been a quitter in his life, a man who could bounce back from being billions in debt is not a quitter.

Paul Ryan has been speaking out against Trump constantly, I see no reason why he should back Paul Ryan.

The thing is Greta, is that Trump more so then HRC, needs all of the help he can get demographically to win this election. He is not winning friends and influencing people, as the saying goes when he needs to now...more than ever. Now he needs to come to the center somewhat...at least rhetorically.

What the right is worried about is a clean sweep by the dems where the repubs fail to get the white house AND lose the senate and as likely enough seats in the house to precipitate a loss of it in 2018. Down ticket voters come out for the 4 year cycle but 2018 remains a real risk.

As for the right limiting Trumps future if he wins and starts to boil over, will be to resign soon as he qualifies for all of the ex-pres. benefits. That's the as far as I will go there. He could even demagogue further...upon his resignation.

And Reps lost the white house with perfectly respectable well behave candidates like McCain and Romney.

Maybe they don't know how to win an election. And their way is not working.

After all, their last Candidate that made it was GWB and he was also pretty kooky. And not very statesmanlike.

People voted for Trump because they were voting anti-establishment. They voted for him because his not manicured.

Trump is doing alot of things that defy convention. Because nobody has ever won an election saying all the things he said before, these people have no idea how to advice Trump to go forward. To advice him to behave more statesmanlike when that's not what won him the primaries is really bad advice.

The Reps are out of their depth. As Trump is different.

All he has to do is hold on long enough to give everyone the chance to vote against Hillary without having to go to a third party candidate that has no chance of winning. After that, I don't care if he quits provided the rules allow Pence to take his place as President elect.

Actually no, because he has to appeal to people other than those who voted for him in the primaries, otherwise he will only get 9%-10% of the vote.

If DT's elected, the day after we will witness the first presidential mass suicide in history, first a bullet to Pence's head, then DT's family and himself.
