So that was you at dick rutans bar-b-q last week? There was a crowd and I asked who and was told it was the rocket science guy and he was signing autographs. I would have stayed but the line was around the hangar.

According to NBC news the officer who did the shooting was the person runing the exercise. It was a demonstration for the public to help them understand what cops have to deal with in a crises.
The cop was playing the part of the bad guy and the victim was playing the part of a cop.
She was shot once, and the cop was using a revolver, not his service weapon.
Thus about the only thing that they seem to have gotten right was that she was shot.

The only part that doesnt make sense is why he was using a real gun.
and how he didnt check the gun, before aiming it at someone.
Or That he didnt ensure the chamber was empty? or check the magazine?

BBC site “Police have not given the man's ethnic origin or that of the police officer, but did say he was armed with a stolen handgun and had an arrest record.”

In England and Wales in the 12 months to March 2016, British police discharged their firearms on just seven occasions

One counting project found 613 people dead, how may injured?, had been killed by US police so far in 2016, as of 28 July. What’s scary here is not the 613, which is absurdly high, nor the fact it covers 7 months, its the fact they have no idea how many their death squads mow down.

The US doesn't have death squads, although I understand that they are common in some countries.

They meant "right to bear arms" , what they said was that the U S recognizes the right to wear tanktops and tube tops.
