You have made it clear you really want the guy the thread is about to have been murdered by the cop because then, even though the cop was also black, you can blame the whole thing on white society, and the rioters are outraged victims, not thugs. Even when your own stats prove and across the board higher crime rate for blacks (and as I have said there are many reasons for this and I don't consider race to be one of them) you can't divorce your self that the fact that there are more violent confrontations between the cops and blacks to have any cause other than race. The more crimes any demographic commits the more hostile interaction they will have with the cops. Till you can get past this false narrative that cops routinely gun down innocent blacks you can't get past or even see your racist tendencies. And before you tell me you don't think that is racist, I have talked to Klansmen who couldn't see how anything they did was racist.

My original comments were about poverty and unemployment. If you are going to talk demographics as Kirata did, you will need a reliable multivariant analysis to come to a conclusion. I asked the question: why do we seem to get a lot of stories from the news media about cops killing blacks.

The stats show that across the board the black crime rate is much higher than the white crime rate. This is the time when you compare the offense numbers to the population. Sure the raw numbers are higher for some because there are more white people, but you insist that poverty is a primarily black proplem even though ther are more whites living in poverty . You play fast and loose with your numbers, you don't just cherry pick you evaluate each set of numbers by whatever rules you have to to make one race the victims and the other what can only be discribed as evil.

So what can someone do in the face of rampant economic racist repression? What happens when the cops don't care. A relative of a friend of mine was paying protection to the crips. He got robbed and called the cops. They took a police report but said they weren't probably going to be able to do anything. He tells the crips, less than a week later he was reimbursed his stuff and money and was told the thief won't do that again. When the legal way is continuous poverty making minimum wage or selling drugs and seeking street justice, the later method will yield more fruits. And the crime rates are largely swayed by who cops go after and who can get off even when caught

The same things happen to whites and blacks, but nobody cares when it happens to whites because that just means the cops are put in an impossible situation, and that doesn't get ratings.

Racial hiring practices, profit margins in drug dealing vs jobs requiring a highschool degree? Terry frisk rates and small drug possession charges? You want one really easy way to ease racial tensions? Drug law reform. First, legalize marijuana, allow use, sale and production as long as taxes are paid. Offer rehab with drug tests in lieu of time for small possession of other drugs. And apply logic to restructuring drug scheduling. The crime drop off will be immense, and not just drug crimes but property and violent crimes too. Were you an officer Bama? Or did you just hang out with a lot of cops?

Racism has nothing to do with power dynamics, that's total BS. Saying its a power dynamic just makes, and perpetuates, the victimology that ensures the minority problems will never be dealt with. The fact is that whites in this country have changed a a great deal and blacks haven't. They use excuses such as this BS to stay in a place of hate. Things won't change as long as this sort of BS continues to make them victims. This is real racism.
