It would be much more difficult to do a 9/11 style attack, with the reinforced cockpit doors and enhanced security screening. Preventing things like San Bernardino or Orlando, or what happened in Nice, France is next to impossible. I'm surprised it took so long for things like those to happen, honestly. As long as people are being allowed to believe in religion, you are going to have people that follow the beliefs. But, we can't ban religion it's in the constitution, and Christians are decent, rational people, yeah right...
San Bernardino and the Orlando night club shootings were deemed "terrorist" attacks but the mass shootings at the Aurora Theater and Sandy Hook elementary school were not. What is the difference? Obviously . . motive. What are the commonalities? The easy availability of firearms. These events seldom, if ever, occur in nations where gun ownership is restricted. I doubt the victims in any of these venues noticed a difference in the quality of terror they felt.

Of course I do but who is to judge whether they were entrapments? You? No, that is a loaded challenge.

I seem to not have the chance to judge because there is no cite.

So, not too many restrictions on the challenge, hey? I can't use the article from the OP; can't be Arabs; can't be FBI involved, which you have decreed were all entrapment. Well, fuck that. There is quite a list available. Google it yourself.

Well for all of its surveillance, our surveillance society blew it in the Orlando case. The FBI (and everybody else involved) had plenty of changes to connect the dots and didn't even have any ink. Noting fails better than truly prolific incompetence.

There is a list available on wiki of thwarted terrorist attacks in America and jail penalties assessed. Our friend Termy, however, sets preconditions including no Arabs and no FBI involvement. . . I will not debate the merits of about 50 cases, many successfully adjudicated, with someone who has already closed his mind and is too lazy to google. *shrugs

No, no ENTRAPMENT. Like remember the 1993 attempt at the WTC ? Or did you forget that ? I didn't forget the kids they entrapped trying to blow a bridge here in town.

You know, I don't even need a specific cite, just name one tie and date and place where they have successfully thwarted a foreign terrorist attack. I can Google it myself.

half a fucking trillion dollars a year and totally useless when it coes to actually defending this country.

What's more they can tell you where one specific cow is in bumfuct Kansas somewhere but don't know where all those illegal aliens are.

Buncha shit, they are picking our pockets, nothing more. They do not work for us and in fact are actually not even pretending to anymore.

Fuck them and the limo they rode in out. If I had my druthers they would all be going out in a fancy car, called a Hearse. You like them, that is your problem. And it will be. Loyalty defies the law of gravity, it goes up but does not come down.
