You're unable to engage in a discussion without resorting to character assination of anyone who disagrees with you.

That's fucking hilarious coming from you. [:D][:D]

This begs the question, is it possible to engage in character assassination against someone as lacking in character as LackofAwareness?

Awareness -> RE: false identity/non-consensual sex - TRIGGER WARNING - SPOILER ALERT (10/7/2016 11:55:19 AM)

Dude, that's not what "begging the question" means.

Don't worry, it's only English.

Interesting look at the case you mentioned a couple of posts ago

Folks can we please get back to the original discussion.

Also, I'd be happy to copy and paste the feminist discussion in a new thread so you all can hash it out.

That being said and an attempt to get this away from the school yard bitch fest snarking-
Awareness did you read my posts on what the statute actually is?

WickedsDesire -> RE: false identity/non-consensual sex - TRIGGER WARNING - SPOILER ALERT (10/7/2016 2:12:24 PM)

ohthat1percent Excellent thread I rarely say that enough for my liking

Reality - misrepresentation troubles me on the internet and real life, I don’t differentiate the two.

No. This you know. But I know what you are saying and you have a point but the line has to be drawn – if it gets redefined later fair enough…and it can be murky in other aspects.

If I signed up for the army at less than the legal age - meh
If I pretended to someone I was the age of consent and I was not – this is viewed as rape curiously enough, sex offender list…
If I emailed someone believing to b the person in the pictures, or single when they are not
Strangely lie about a qualification on a CV and they will sack you – well, less you signed up for the army.
You can thieve embezzle this and that of gold and you will be prosecuted - well unless you are a "banker", politician, etc

Do that to another person soul and no one really fives a flying fek

Its meaning in this context was very clear. Its application here is probably the more common use of the term, notwithstanding the insistence by some that its use be restricted to the original, narrower, logical sense.

It supports exactly the principle I have been stating for God knows how long... that feminists believe that a man - ANY MAN - should be paying for a child. The concept of a woman being responsible for her own actions in regards to conception is still foreign to them.

Again, "the best interests of the child" mysteriously fail to prevent a woman from abandoning her own child post partum.

Yeah. Feminists are interested in equality all right. Pull the other one.

It's so cute when you try and be snarky. It's like watching an intellectually disabled kitten attempt to catch butterflies.

She believed that that was the man she wanted for the father of her baby, she was married at the time. Why? I suspect she is a sick woman and has harmed her child permanently, his life and her ex husbands. I cannot agree with anything she did, and I do not agree with anything she did. She deceived him and used him, I hope he gets her in some deep shit and that he gets back every penny he paid, and every charge thrown at her.

But using her as a "typical" example of feminism, is as bad as me saying that every male is misogynistic or at fault for for, say.... your personal opinions.[8|]

Of course it is. It's just frothing anti-feminist propaganda. It amounts to saying that everybody who wants to see equality between the genders is as Ms X, who claimed the same thing, but is also a conniving crone. People are judged by the company they (are said to) keep. That's how the propaganda works.

I would also like to get back to the OP's question.

Methinks the question of rape/not rape is somehow tied to the severity of the fraud involved, so I am looking for a standard for the gravity of the fraud. Examples follow:

UBER Maxi Fraud: Woman's bound son is held at gunpoint by drug dealer who threatens to shoot son unless she blows him. Woman consents. Man is really convicted serial rapist but gun is just an unloaded replica.

Maxi Fraud: Woman's son is really incarcerated in foreign camp by insurgents. Man falsely claims to be related to a camp official with life/death power over son; he demands sexual favors in exchange for good treatment of son. Man is in reality shown to have knowingly lied, having committed the same fraud with multiple women.

Midi Fraud: Man is business executive promising promotion to clerical assistant in return for sexual relationship which is initiated. She discovers he was aware of budget cutbacks and pending promotion freeze.

Mini Fraud: Man claims 10" dick, knowing it really is only 9.5" and not even all that hard.

By what standard does the jury decide?

PxC

No, I don't think so.

These are both extortion, not fraud.

Prostitution is illegal, and consensual sex was consensual.

Mini Fraud: Man claims 10" dick, knowing it really is only 9.5" and not even all that hard.
Consensual sex is consensual.

They don't. The first two examples are clearly crimes, the last two are not.
