ORIGINAL: PowerXXXchange I would also like to get back to the OP's question. Methinks the question of rape/not rape is somehow tied to the severity of the fraud involved No, I don't think so. quote:
UBER Maxi Fraud: Woman's bound son is held at gunpoint by drug dealer who threatens to shoot son unless she blows him. Woman consents. Man is really convicted serial rapist but gun is just an unloaded replica. Maxi Fraud: Woman's son is really incarcerated in foreign camp by insurgents. Man falsely claims to be related to a camp official with life/death power over son; he demands sexual favors in exchange for good treatment of son. Man is in reality shown to have knowingly lied, having committed the same fraud with multiple women. These are both extortion, not fraud. quote:
Midi Fraud: Man is business executive promising promotion to clerical assistant in return for sexual relationship which is initiated. She discovers he was aware of budget cutbacks and pending promotion freeze. Prostitution is illegal, and consensual sex was consensual. quote:
Mini Fraud: Man claims 10" dick, knowing it really is only 9.5" and not even all that hard. Consensual sex is consensual. quote:
By what standard does the jury decide? They don't. The first two examples are clearly crimes, the last two are not.
