Yeah... no.

Most of Europe isn't as paranoid as the US is about children seeing stuff that children have always seen (and still are used to seeing in some countries) throughout human history. We don't believe that children will be supremely traumatized by the least hint of normal human interaction.

As such, whether children see it or not doesn't mater much (unless it's clear that children were deliberately involved). Whatever public indecency charge might follow (public exposure is usually legal... technically it's legal to walk around naked in public in much of Europe) wouldn't be made more severe by virtue of kids seeing it versus adults seeing it. It would be the same thing.
And there wouldn't be a 'public record' or a sex offender registration involved in most countries either.

They're not as bizarrely afraid from nudity there as they are here, and don't assume fragile children's souls will be damaged forever by perfectly normal things... coed nude spa/saunas that kids attend as well are common for example. Hell, I've been going to such (naked, as all the adults would be) since I was 2 years old, and I would never be the only kid there.

DesFIP -> RE: One more silly little thread nobody will take seriously (10/11/2016 9:30:34 AM)

There's a scholarly study of this. Seductions of Crime by Jack Katz.
It's being an adrenaline junkie combined with thinking of yourself as some macho asshole. Women rarely want to think of themselves as the biggest bad ass.

In actuality of course you aren't risking anything which means you're not a bad ass, just a coward.

Been there, done that. Though she was the one that insisted and I was the one blushing. I think she was one year older than me.
Sadly I still can't tick that third point off my fantasy list because for all intents and purposes it was all in the open. I was still blown away. [:D]

You've touched on the point, though. The laws are different here. Exactly why when any of our threads here that go into the territory of "sexual offender registry" (USA) always include the stories of the guys who are on it because they happened to be taking a leak in the bushes and a kid saw them.

It makes me curious about the potential difference between the OP's location and the USA about getting arrested for shoplifting. The USA, if the value of what's being stolen is below a certain amount, the first time, you get over rather easy. (Usually something like plead no contest, stay out of trouble for a certain amount of time, you do no jail.) Second time, you can probably still stay out of jail, but pay the fine, probably get community service and/or probation. Third, you usually will get the actual jail time (county) and it's staying on your permanent record.

The OP says he (changed to the proper pronoun) hasn't been caught yet, so none of that. I wonder what the potential repercussions are if he does get caught.

Edited for corrections.

He, male sub, Slovenia, not UK.

LadyPact -> RE: One more silly little thread nobody will take seriously (10/11/2016 2:36:49 PM)

My apologies, OP.

Numerans -> RE: One more silly little thread nobody will take seriously (10/11/2016 3:23:14 PM)

Meh Slovenia was just where I was when I made the profile. I'm a bit on the move here and there.

I don't entertain the thought of being caught, ever, or even if I am to suffer any consequences for it. Ultimately almost all suffering I've felt I've brought upon myself and I'm learning to accept that fact.

But I mean look, this thread has not really served its purpose :P Ima just delete my profile soon anyway as I've come in contact with the person I wanted to on the site.

kiwisub22 -> RE: One more silly little thread nobody will take seriously (10/11/2016 4:00:06 PM)

Oh dear - now we know that the OP is a fake - because we have it on authority that no-one meets anyone on Collarchat................................[:D]

Numerans -> RE: One more silly little thread nobody will take seriously (10/11/2016 4:09:02 PM)

Oh no meetup. We missed each other a bit. Shit, who knows. I get insecure and introverted when I really like someone so it's probably gonna crash and burn.
So the mythos might still hold!

Last time I checked, Colorado is part of America.
You might want to revamp that profile. Just saying...

Nudity is actually legal in many states and many countries. (Only because there are no outright laws prohibiting it. It's a matter of time...) That's not the point.

Your English comprehension is lacking. Read the the OP's original post. He's not discussing nudity. He's discussing sex. Albeit 'just' at the edge of public exposure but it only takes one curious soul. That curious soul might be a minor. Welcome to having a rap sheet for life for a cheap thrill.

There may be the rare exclusion to the common laws, but most countries, even European countries, have laws prohibiting sex in front of minors or in public.

Otherwise; cite your sources. Show me a preponderance of evidence to support to your claim. Not one or two. Show me twenty, thirty, forty even.

You realize that people move. Right?

And that just because they move, they don't give up their previous citizenship. Right?

I'm a European (Belgian) living in Colorado. What exactly should I change about my profile?

Your comprehension is lacking. I didn't say that sex in front of people isn't illegal in Europe. I said that having sex in public is illegal in most of Europe. And that because most of Europe doesn't consider kids to be some sort of special, precious little glass dolls who will be soul crushingly damaged when they're confronted with natural things, whether or not somebody gets caught having -illegal- sex in public in front of minors or adults doesn't matter. The charge would be the same. The fact that kids were present doesn't impact anything.
If he was caught, and charged, WHO witnessed him wouldn't matter a thang.

quote:

3) Don't even consider it. If there's even the remotest possibility that children may be exposed, you really don't want that on your record.

YOU, on the other hand, implied that the OP should ONLY reconsider having -potentially illegal, depending on local- sex in public IF there where minors present. And that if there were children present, that that would somehow aggravate the charges, or make the mark on his public record somehow worse.
In other words, you basically stated that it should be fine for the OP to have illegal sex in public AS LONG AS he makes sure there's no kids around.

In most of Europe, it wouldn't make a difference. Whether kids were present or not wouldn't matter a thing, unless it could be conclusively proven that the OP deliberately sought out kids.
If the public sex was legal in that particular country, the presents of children wouldn't change that. And if it was illegal, the presents of children (unless deliberately sought out) wouldn't change anything either.

@UllrsIshtar - You so totally twisted everything I typed that I can see your comprehension of English is faulty. Nor are you capable of providing any sources to bolster your opinion, not fact. Revel in your ignorance.

Numerans -> RE: One more silly little thread nobody will take seriously (10/12/2016 5:53:54 PM)

Oh you can see that her comprehension of English is faulty?

What, as opposed to your comprehension of yourself?
You just literally stated a bunch of nonsense, supposedly applicable to the whole world (Murica) and you cited no sources yourself. Or maybe being a hypocrite is just the way you roll?

Further more I would be more concerned about the various limbs that your nations bombs (recently sold to Saudi Arabia to be used in Yemen) expose kids to if we are going to blow things out of proportion like seems to have been the norm in this thread. But that's blowing it too much out of proportion?

How about the fact that Kids can find anything and everything online now. And if you control their access to that they will go to the library or to a WiFi hotspot or a friends house and just trust you less.Note that there is no value of good or bad attached to this fact.
Also mentioned previously Europe tends to have a lot of situations where such things that you dread occur. They are not limited to nudist beaches but festivals, love raves/street raves, house parties and what not where age groups mix.

Though let's be clear about something. Your imagined or perhaps projected vision of my fantasy is grossly misguided, Shandirra.

Adrenaline is fun. I love bunjy jumping and rollercoasters, I have a bit of a fright of heights so that adds to the excitement. Paradropping is next.

But I don't think that this has exclusively to do with adrenaline. The French term "libertine" is applicable but has too much of a connection with hedonism to really work for me as I don't indulge into things without thinking about their implications.

You do realize that they "cover their losses" by raising the prices the rest of us pay, don't you?

If they do their prices become somewhat more comparable with your local private store, easing the great burden these little mom and pop stores are under and forcing these large ones to hire a bunch of security guards to spread the wealth around a bit. I almost see it as a civic duty. Though I don't do it in excess so my impact is very negligible. One could argue if this argument came first or came about as efforts to justify my actions but I hold it very firmly regardless of if it embodies the Egg or the Chicken.

Sweetcheeks, you can sit here all day and try to justify it, but in the end you are a common thief and some day they are going to lock your ass up for it.

I don't find it funny. It's sick!

Are you aware that many workers, apart from losing bonuses, would actually get their wages CUT if there are too many losses??

And there will be cases where people lose their kids because they aren't earning enough to keep them properly?
Or lose their house because they can no longer afford the rent?
Or can't get their kids to a doctor because they can't afford it?

These problems are not caused by shoplifters.

And to the OP, there is a reason why 1% control 90% of the money. It is because that way, no matter what the other 99% do, financially they are powerless to change anything. Whether one plays by the rules... or not.

No those are problems caused by losing your job. Of course losing your job can be caused by the company losing money because of theft but apparently the op doesn't care about that part.

As to the 1%, I totally agree. What a shame they are about to elect another one to lead our country. But that really doesn't have anything to do with the op trying to justify being a thief. Does it?

If everyone did what I did Walmart would become a prison complex or would see failing results and the main streets of towns and cities would once again blossom and community would return. But everyone will not do it ;-) So It is pointless to argue "ifs" in this case.

Indeed. You are an oddball. But not a dangerous one, and there aren't many people like you. So it's a piffling thing, as far as I can see. I can't be arsed to bother my moral sensitivities on what you do one way or the other, to be honest.

I read that in your accent. It was lovely

Have you perved his profile and listened to the clip on it? I get the feeling he could sit down and read a phone book and make it sound good. But alas, I still don't know what the song is.

Yes actually... it does. What jobs would they hypothetically losing? If you haven't noticed, the 1% not only is controlling the media and politics, they are also destroying most of the middle class and moving more and more hard working people into poverty. So what could be done by the people to fix this? Following the rules isn't working out so well. So, theoretically, perhaps not following them might produce some results. It kind of goes back to that basic Philosophy 101 question... if a parent couldn't afford the medicine to save your child's life, is it wrong to steal it? Sometimes the end justifies the means.

What kind of jobs would people be losing? A slave labor job. Whereas before stores were run individually by local entrepreneurs/merchants who hired their neighbors and paid them a fair wage. A wage they could provide for their family with.

Numerans -> RE: One more silly little thread nobody will take seriously (10/13/2016 10:42:47 PM)

Ah you're right Tamaka.

All of these things and others like them are primarily a little fuck you to the establishment that's so rigid and devious of itself.
If you can't enjoy yourself punching it back in some way or an other then soon enough you'll be surrounded by it. Like that little girl who had her lemonade stand busted because she didn't apply for a business permit.

Do "you" want to go somewhere? Do you want do something? Do you want to see someone?
Go try it. You might not always succeed but don' avoid it just cause someone told you not to.

Don't steal from someone that might miss something, don't trespass where you bother others, don't be in someones face and not expect a punch.
