Not sure where to put this. I was searching profiles for dominant women. I happened on one I like, so I messaged her, briefly but politely, I think after having read her profile thoroughly. For a response, she sends me a huge list of people she has blocked. No explanation. I was writing back to say, I don't understand why did you send this reply? But I could not send it, because she blocked me!! I think this lady has some issues. Anyone ever have a similar experience?

Without knowing the actual exchange it's impossible to say whether she was justified.

~FRing it~ Asking her directly is better than asking a bunch of random strangers to speculate on her motivations. But if she blocked you, why does it matter?

Since she is clearly not interested, maybe she blocked you in anticipation of the follow-up "Why?" email that you tried to send her?

Hmm. I've never come across that particular kind of a response before. Odd behaviour. She could think you're someone from the past with a new nickname; she could believe there's some detail of her profile that you've ignored; she could be findom who you've not recognised as such ... there could be all kinds of possibilities. John, my own policy, for what it's worth, is not to invest too much into an initial approach. For me, that first message to someone is like saying 'hello' to a woman at the bar or at a bus-stop: friendly, show you're intelligent, show you see something interesting about her (beyond her sexiness, that is), raise hat, then leave it at that. All in a couple of sentences.

I am a new Domme here and yes I have gotten a ton of messages, two of which I immediatly blocked. The reasons one had a dick pic profile pic. The other I felt was out of line and inappropiate. I was also blocked by an older sub. I responded to his first message he then sent two more. Appearently not responding within 12 hours was rude so he blocked me. Sorry I have a life, a career, and need sleep. In addition, if you sound at all like you are dictating to me what you need without so much as a hi then I might block. A lot of messages I will not respond to because they clearly did not read my profile. I am not sure why you were blocked, but I would not let it bother you as that is a Domme's prerogative.

Usually, they don't just bother to reply, which is perfectly fine considering the afore-mentioned piles of emails they get. A list of blocked people followed by a block does seem like weird response but there's nothing do be done about it.

I'm very clear that I'm not looking at this time and I still get that many a day in my inbox. More in my bulk mail. I'm neither dismissive or arrogant. OP only she can answer that question but I wouldn't take it personally. This site has changed a lot over the past decade. Just brush it off and move forward. Good luck!
