Hear hear! By much the same criteria, I too am a fake and a game player, labels which for the most part I proudly wear. Dosen't stop me from being opinionated about all those other fakes, though. It's just a damn shame how every clique in the world dosen't adhere to exactly the same rules and etiquette that I was taught when I was inducted into the scene. YER ALL FAKES, YA HEAR ME?!?

I suspect that fakes are an integral part of any group. Another subculture I mix with is bicycle racing -- there they make fun of the "Fred's" (an acronym borrowed from railroading for "Fucking Rear End Device"), and it refers to the guys who have the latest bikes and garb so they look like imitation Lance Armstrongs, except that they barely ride enough to be in any shape to keep up with the group.

I'll bet if you listen to the old ladies in their sewing circles they'll be poking fun at the fakes who don't even know how to do a cross-stitch or whatever it is that sewing folks do.

Anyway, I think that one of the biggest things that differentiate the fakes from the real folks are that real folks can think for themselves and really don't give a damn if others want to brand them a fake for it.

Oh LadyShoshin, you took the words right out of my mouth but this also applys to Dom's (wanna be's). many a time I have had to walk away because someone doesnt know what their talking about. But someday, I shall meet that man or woman and I shall be in complete heaven.

To be honest they weed themselves out more than I weed them out.

All I do really is give them time to weed themselves or some they are worth a closer look.

However, I am also not looking, though recently more so than before, since I might have found someone near me, and we have decided to see if it will work or not.

But as with all things - time shall tell.

this thread is dead so I'm writing on water.

however it's interesting the above thread makes out fakes to be real people who may not be what they are looking for.

When I say, "All the fakes", I mean the robots the respond with an add where the age is 97 height 5'7 and weight 45 lbs and then ask me to join yahoo to ask for money or to have me join a pay site.

That's a fake.

A fake is a sub who gives me a list of things he would like me to do for him instead of asking me what I would like. They also expect sex. I credit to much internet porn and no rl expierence for the glut of sub wannabes.
