ORIGINAL: Awareness As many have pointed out, if they hadn't rigged the primaries, we would've had President Bernie Sanders by now. There's a lot of DNC shills trying to claim the opposite, but the fact remains that Sanders crushed Trump in every match-up. And people can whine about the popular vote, but Hillary Clinton lost state after state, including those which were supposed to be part of her 'firewall'. It's also time that people started accepting that MSNBC, CNN and the plethora of left-leaning media including the Washington Post are every bit as bad as Fox News in their partisan, dishonest approach to reporting. The real problem - as displayed by the leftists in this forum - is that the Democrats haven't learned their lesson. They are still trying to blame extraneous factors. Let me make this clear. Trump didn't win this election, the Democrats lost it. The arrogant, dismissive, lecturing tone of leftists who run around calling people misogynists and racists simply isn't going to fly. You can't hope to get elected by appealing to minorities and telling the vast majority of the country what pieces of shit they are. The anti-male, anti-white, anti-heterosexual, anti-Christian, anti-Capitalist mantra - of what is fundamentally a bunch of cock-eyed pseudo-socialist bastard children of Marx - is working against them. People are pretty sick of the left's policies of social control and their "thought police" style approach to social issues. Sorry, Dude. The busy part of my week doesn't always allow for prompt responses. Just my thoughts. I actually do agree that the Democrats lost it. Had HRC at least been smart enough to chose Sanders as a running mate, this could have been a whole different thing. However, don't fool yourself. It wasn't *just* that Clinton talked down to the lower-middle, white class. Trump capitalized on those votes. Particularly the disgruntled working class. "Why don't I have a good job, or decent heath insurance, or make a living wage?" It's THEIR fault. In a sense, Trump made that work for him. (Put aside for a moment that a lot of folks *won't* work for their goals, etc, etc.) It's not YOUR fault. Blame them! They 'took yer jobs'. Trump took advantage of that discontent and ran with it. Have to put this part it. I see what you did there. It's a really cool political trick. As soon as you start saying "anti" anything, people interpret that as being "against" them, rather than looking at things objectively. Let's pick one. I'm not aware of your religious affiliation, so that's easy. Exactly what is "anti-Christian" to you? Is it that we decided (finally) that those of a different sexual orientation get the same rights as you? Does it harm (anti) you in any way that they get to marry, make end of life decisions, or take care of the estate when a partner passes? Nope. Doesn't. But when phrased a certain way, it's "anti" you. It shakes some people's sense of security. That's all it takes. Reminds me entirely too much of the star-bellied sneeches.
