But a violent response to a LEGAL DEMOCRATIC process? When your own beloved leader and the loser of the DEMOCRATIC process are speaking out against it? That's exactly what the KKK members thought Obama would be.
Yeah they weren't rational, but then again, rational people don't riot over something like this.

And no matter how irrationally the KKK believed that Obama was their bogey man, they did not riot.

Likewise now the left is irrationally believing that Trump is their bogey man. And the difference between the left and the "racist bigot evangelical deplorables who voted for Trump" is that they're giving into their irrationality and are rioting.
Death treats against Trump, and Trump voters are also far higher than they were when Obama got elected.

I mean, think about that: The left is proving that it's more violent when it doesn't get its way than all those middle-America, racist, bigot, gun totting, Bible biting, yeahaas it's so scared of because they're all dangerous violent imbeciles with guns.

You might have noticed that I personally am NOT rioting... so I'm not going to apologize to you... especially after all of this 'special snowflake' shit. But your insistence that the rioting was the only thing you're taking issue with is wrong-- you insisted that this was merely a case of 'sore losers upset that they didn't win'... it's a lot more than that. I'm assuming that you're now focusing on the riots because you realize that you were wrong, so that's a step in the right direction.

But yes, okay, rioting is wrong. Murder is wrong too, but I would more sympathetic to the killer if it was an abused spouse fighting back after the abuse went a little too far. And that is how I feel about these riots. This sort of blind rage isn't due to hooligans who just want to watch the world burn, it's a legitimate expression of rage, helplessness and fear... and those aren't going to just go away. Simply condemning it isn't going to help anyone understand it... but the thing is, even understanding it probably isn't going to help, because I can't see any of the much-needed compromises ever taking place now.

And rioting may be wrong, but electing a fascist is much much worse... and I don't see you feeling any remorse about that. I don't see any remorse being shown about the racism, sexism, and hate that came out of Trump's mouth-- just a lot of 'shut up and stop being such a baby', even when it was obviously hurting people in ways that you could probably never understand.

Even if Trump turns out to be a complete fraud (which would be nice), people VOTED for that shit... which is simply horrifying. It's even more horrifying that this was LEGAL and DEMOCRATIC. In fact, the words LEGAL and DEMOCRATIC have been officially reduced to dogma now. If LEGAL DEMOCRATIC processes are what led to President Trump, then LEGAL DEMOCRATIC processes are not to be trusted.

This is seriously grim shit.
