There's been quite a bit of speculation about that historically, but it's hard to verify one way or the other at this stage. Certainly Paul of Tarsus comes across as the sort of male homosexual who fears and resents women in some of his additions to the new testament.,

He's just being himself. I was reading somewhere that alot of those crossing the Mexican border into the US are not Mexican. Some are form the middles east or South America for one but they can come from anywhere. Mexico is a port of a sort. And there are others. Some are criminals escaping justice. In fact you'll find that in plenty of the refugees. You think they're sending their engineers and doctors ? No, they are sending their troublemakers.

Trump is right on this, but maybe doesn't get just why because he hasn't seen a few things. The Mexicans are no longer so enchanted with this place. Citizenship here does not get you a job. If you have no kids you get no welfare and it is pretty hard to time a "visit" so you can have an anchor baby. You need to becomes a citizen to get anything, and if you're here illegally that is not likely.

The main thing they do is come during harvest time and do some jobs that we either don't want to do or flat out can't do. Seriously, working in the fields in 100 degree heat ? Being from down there they are a little bit more used to the heat People from New York would literally drop dead. So they come and work a few months and go home.

There is no law that a US Citizen has to pay personal income taxes, but we should get something out of that market. So tax the employers. Run the workers in on busses, no more crawling under the wire or hopping the fence or whatever. The drug dealers will take care of themselves, in fact I think they got tunnels and I am pretty sure they do not allow them to be used for immigrants because every MF crawls out of that hoe could reveal its location. But I want that good cheap weed. They should just legalize the shit. Weed smugglers, they make the delivery and get their money and then what ? They are road weary and go stay in a motel and go to a restaurant, like a tourist.

They are not here to hurt anyone, but that does not necessarily apply to those to whom they sell. All this shit in Chicago is turf wars between gangs, or wannabe gangs. And the gangs are not Mexican. They may be of Mexican descent but I would bet very few are illegal. It doesn't make sense to have, or be in a gang in another country. they like it at home where they know all the cops and their banbinos are or whatever.

If I ran drugs to Mexico I would stay at a decent motel and go to a good restaurant and then go home, where I know the cops. Well not no more but they know me and leave me alone, there is something on the computer or something.

Now when you got someone came from Pakistan and gets in through the Mexican border that is different. It is almost for sure the fucker is up to no good. What else is here for him ? Possibly family who could hide him for the rest of his life ? Can''t get a job, can't get welfare, at risk even walking down the street if the cops confront him. And if they catch him they send him back and all that money spent to get him here is for naught.

People look at the movies and think it is reality. Like "Born In East LA". You had a bunch of illegals working at a textile plant. Well there are practically no textile plants in this country anymore. There are probably more in Mexico. And then the US automakers built plants in Mexico, damn, maybe we should start sneaking in there.

Trump has got the problem overblown as far as the whole country is concerned, but he pandered quite well to the border states. Illegal immigrants will steal a cow and eat good, thrash down some of your corn to go with it, all in the middle of the night when you are sleeping. Ranch Rescue was a direct response to that kind of shit. Did they really care that these people were walking across their land ? Fuck no, but they stole from them and left a mess. Not very polite guests to say the least.

In short, (too late I know) if Mexico tightened up its borders the US would not have so much an interest in tightening up ours. And Trump saying that Mexico will pay for the wall is talking out his ass, but then all politicians do. I checked, the US does not give enough financial aid to deduct from it, so how the hell are you going to make them pay ? Tariffs ? General Motors will never allow that. Tax coffee ? Sorry, Juan Valdez is in South America, not Mexico.

It really is not good that we had to go for him, but Clinton was the alternative so this is what we got. At least he is different.

I think these next few years are going to be interesting, and really I wish him luck and I also want to see things improve. Talk to the democrats and things were never better. Well at least sixty million disagree.

T^T

Termyn8or "He's just being himself" does one mean a deranged half wit nutter, which you are enabling? - Has your pea like brain ever read the monsters CV? Holy fukity it afronted my very being.

But his American 3rd wife is rather tidy I would vote for her...plus she has forty three times more brains than that fuking mess she married

Yes there is actually speculation that Paul was the antichrist. You can google it if interested.

Marc2b -> RE: How Can Trump Unite the Country? (11/18/2016 12:18:47 PM)

quote:

Reason can only conclude that a premise is false if that follows logically from a premise that is true. Reason simply operates from a premise, it doesn't examine it for validity. That's up to the person employing it, and many people don't. You are a case in point.

You are not making any sense at all. Not if by "reason" you mean logic. Yes, it can only operate correctly if it starts with a premise that is true but it most certainly can - when used correctly - test the validity of other ideas (which may of may not become a premise for other arguments). For example, we know that evolution is true. The evidence is unequivocal. In light of that, is the notion that all life was poofed into existence by a invisible being (for which there is no evidence for) that operates outside of the laws of nature reasonable? Nope.

quote:

I accept your correction.

That is good. You should do that more often.

quote:

One of the premises "enlightening" your reason is that your view of reality is superior to the view of anyone who doesn't agree with you.

And here is another correction for you. I do not consider myself superior to anyone. Notions of superiority and inferiority may be fun in BDSM games but they have no place in the real world. Would you consider a doctor to be superior to an auto mechanic? Most people would probably say yes since the doctor is "better educated" than the mechanic . . . but is he? In matters of medicine the doctor may be better educated but does make him superior? What happens when the doctor's car breaks down? Now who is the "superior?"

Rather than consider myself superior to those who disagree with me I consider disagreement as a chance to educate and/or be educated (if i'm in the mood). I am open to being educated if those who I disagree with can prove their case. Indeed, I am much more liberal than when I first joined Collarme. I didn't consider myself an atheist back then either. Have you changed at all or do you remain stubbornly static?

Marc2b -> RE: How Can Trump Unite the Country? (11/18/2016 12:34:01 PM)

quote:

Well purely as a matter of theological debate, who says he does? And where in Matthew, Mark, Luke, or John does Christ teach anyone to fear God for that cause, or for any other cause? The answer is nowhere.

...rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell. ~Matthew 10:28

You can figure that one out, right?

Yeah, I'm pretty sure that Jesus was talking about God the Father here, unless you believe in the Trinity, in which case he is also talking about himself. That is one of the problems with "holy" scripture isn't it? It is open to such a multitude of interpretations which really wouldn't be possible if scripture were written by a god.

A gentleman by the name of AronRa explains it much better than me in his 2nd Foundational Falsehood of Creationism. I recommend the entire series for anyone who wants to be better educated in the whole Evolution versus Creationism debate.

He can't. Unless, of course, he leaves... and takes Pence with him.

I have not seen many ideas. Trump used to be a democrat and he's not a social conservative by any standard. Conceivably he could pivot to the center on a S.CT nomination, infrastructure spending, and immigration reform. According to many of his followers -- what he says is not to be taken literally -- its just a starting point for him to reach an objective. Now that he's President -- he's more able to reach across the aisle than any traditional Republican. He can pay lip service to social conservative issues but not make any moves there -- by saying something like -- "You know I hate abortion, but we need to give women access to family planning services to cut down on the number of abortions and accidental pregnancies that lead to a lot of family dysfunction."

He might also say, "We've analyzed the immigration problem and we plan to implement tougher border security measures with a reform plan similar to the one passed by Ronald Regan in 1980."

Then he can unite Democrats and Centrist Republican around a decent agenda while circumventing the Tea Party obstructive.

Look at the facts: (1) He does not like to be pushed around or told what to do; (2) he hates orthodoxy; (3) He's from NYC a cosmopolitan city with a huge immigrant population; (4) He's better than Ted Cruz.

By the look of things, NONE OF THE ABOVE is going to happen.
