a small handful of the most populated states would contain close to enough votes to determine the results for the whole country.

One more comrade who does not believe in one person one vote

our president could end up being chosen by virtue of the amount of leftie/liberal/socialist/communists/progressives/collectivists/felons/whatever, that live in California, new York, Illinois and one or two other heavily populated states. heck there are probably more lefties in California than there are conservatives in 20 of the least populated states.

Just about 40 percent of the "leftie, liberal, communist, progressive, collectivist, felons" in illinois and california voted for trumph dumbass.
Jesus ytou are phoquing stupid.

What was really ironic/hypocritical (I think) was that the actor that delivered the message used the words: "diverse Americans" when he was employed in a play that used the words: "white actors need not apply" in their casting call.

Are you making shit up again, as usual?

Some day, people of color may wake up and see it for themselves. Then, the democratic party is truly finished.

Is that why bill's wife is about 2 million votes ahead in the popular vote?

Given that there's a white actor standing behind him and a mostly white chorus line to his right in the photo of him reading his prepared statement, probably.

Hillary Clinton's national popular vote lead now stands at 1.677 million votes or a 1.3 percentage point margin.

Which is totally irrelevant.

Another school teacher who does not believe in the relevance of elections.

Not sure what you mean.

Maybe if you got a grown uip to help you with the big words it would help.

The stated held their elections.

If it were an election then the one with the most votes would be the winner. It is not an election it is an appointment. You claim to be a school teacher and yet you do not seem able to operate a dictionary with any facility.

The electoral college gave a lot more weight compared to many other states.

I took civics in the sixth grade and was made aware of the farce called the presidential election. The electoral college appoints the president. One would think someone who claims to be a school teacher would be aware of that.

Trump still won.

Trump was apointed just as were all of his predecessors.

LOL you are about the tenth person to say that but way after I said it. I KNOW the electoral vote went to trump bozo.
But people are bullshitting that he won the popular vote. He didnt, simple truth.
Dont try teach your granny to suck eggs

And neither are you the first person to harp on the popular vote, which is irrelevant. Also while we're at it, aside from one Tweet that got posted and promptly debunked, myself being among the first to do so, who are these "people" (plural) saying that Trump won the popular vote?

Just fyi... if the Muslims take over a women's vote would count only half and the homosexuals and transgenders... well, they probably won't have one.

There's a lot of moslems in Mexico, are there?

Trump interprets it as disrespect to the office - and it is. If a white cast did the same thing to Obama, you and your cronies would be screaming blue murder about racism.

You are obviously not old enouigh to have ever seen the play "hair"

Your endless hypocrisy is the quintessential reason why the Democrats got the shit kicked out of them in this election

Is that why bill's wife is ahead in the popular vote by nearly 2 million and counting?
Jesus you are phoquing stupid.

Shots from the performance are not the same shots of the uppity nigger dissing Bert and Ernie, you'll find.
(I'd say "nice try" but that was a pathetic attempt ratherc than a genuine effort, so I can't.)

I have no idea what the hell you think you're saying here, and not much confidence that you do either. The casting call was what it was. DS was correct, and speculations to the contrary were wrong. End of story. Get over it.

From Mike Pence:

"When we arrived we heard a few boos, and we heard some cheers," he said, "I nudged my kids and reminded them that is what freedom sounds like."

This says it all! Mike Pence keeps impressing!

So it's an all ethnic cast, despite the white actors and actresses in the photo of the guy reading his prepared statement to pence, then?
Must be great to get to ignore reality like that. Does that happen automatically when you vote for Bert and Ernie, or do you have to take drugs as well to get that working?

Pence handled this well. Props to him. I still don't like his policies, but he is acting like a responsible adult, which is more than I can say for a lot of people in this election.

Trump is making him look bad. Trump is whining about SNL as well. If the next four years are going to be Trump whining every time he is made fun of in the entertainment world I am going to pay extra for the custom made ear plugs my ex bought for hunting. Because the President is traditionally cannon fodder for entertainment comedy and satire, and they have all laughed it off. Part of the job.

Honestly... pretty much all of it is just emotional nonsense with little substance.

Well, then again I must admit that is an accurate description of most of Trump's entire campaign content.

Yet he won, Hillary lost, get over it.

Hillary Clinton's national popular vote lead now stands at 1.677 million votes or a 1.3 percentage point margin.
Yeah, I'd knock 5% off that to get the real figure.

You can knock whatever you want off...it will have no effect.

State Clinton (D) Trump (R) Others Clinton % Trump % Others %
U.S. Total 63,649,978 61,943,670 7,074,979 48.0% 46.7% 5.3% 3.9% 1.3% -2.6%

Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s popular vote victory continued to grow Monday as millions of ballots remained uncounted, according to the latest ballot tally published by the Cook Political Report. The first female major-party nominee has secured nearly 2 million more votes than her opponent, billionaire Donald Trump, despite an Electoral College vote in his favor.

Trump managed to secure well over the 270 electoral votes needed to clinch the presidency, but Clinton appears to have soundly won the popular vote by an ever-expanding margin. She received about 63,600,000 votes to the president-elect's 61,900,000, according to the Cook Political Report. Updated ballot counts show her receiving at least 48 percent of the national vote compared to Trump’s 46.7 percent.

Clinton’s lead has already exceeded the 540,520-vote gap former Democratic candidate Al Gore maintained over former President George W. Bush before the former conceded in the 2000 election.

<snip>The Cook Political Report’s editor David Wasserman said Sunday there were still nearly 7 million uncounted votes. "A majority of them are on the coasts, in New York, California, and Washington,” he told The Atlantic. “She should be able to win those votes, probably 2-1."

It's like inheriting money after you died.

well its actually like saying 99% of blacks are killed by blacks.
While we are stuck with trump, reminding you of facts and figures is my little way of saying you need to get your facts right.
Trumps base are the saddest. They are crowing when they dont know what they are crowing about.

What a weird view. I don't think anyone's crowing. More like saying enough whining is enough.

When people voted Trump. People voted for Non-politician behaviour. And that's what they got.

Pence got the typical experienced politician diplomacy. Although, very impressive. Compared to Hillary who lost control despite being an experienced politician.

But when people choose Trump, they WANTED this trump you are seeing. The guy who acts out, is passionate and loses control. And just says whatever is on his mind, without filter.

They see an imperfect human being, who could simply continue as he has always been going and enjoy his usual luxurious life, but instead, sacrificing his salary and his life really, and his business, to do something he believes will improve this country.

There is alot of reasons many super rich DOES NOT want to run for President, even though, perhaps they could have helped the country get to better place. Lower salary. Conflicts with their businesses. Loss of Privacy. I mean, when people look at Trump, they know he is imperfect and he has faults. But they are willing to give a non-politician with his unpolished behaviour a chance, because the polished politician has failed to deliver.

WhoreMods -> RE: Who Needs a Safe Space Now? (11/21/2016 11:22:58 AM)

It's part of the job unless you're an orange cockwomble with thinner skin than most amoebae. Then, apparently, it becomes an assault on the democratic principles on which America was founded.
(Or, perhaps, an attempt to hide the fact that you've just paid off a bunch of people you overcharged for a fraudulent qualification that isn't worth the paper it's written on, presumably because you were terrified that you'd have had to pay them a lot more than $30 million if it had actually gone to trial in front of a jury.)
Pathetic, innit?
