If/when I decide to cut My hair, I would go to someone who has a good track record for styling Black Men's hair.... ...that way I wouldn't have to deal with the "insecurities" males like you "feel during grooming procedures." Seriously, when I was getting a style once a month, Id walk in, sit down in the Barber's chair, tell Him what I want, sit still while He does it, thank & pay Him after, struttin' out the door I'd go. RM, I don't understand how this is possible, because legions of whiny feminists continually assure us that they are second class citizens. Is there really anyone at all out there who cannot understand why a lot of women would feel safer with a female driver when getting a taxi home after a night out? Or why going to the barber shop is not the same thing at all as getting in to a car driven by a stranger? I think that the average 10 year old would know why there is a difference between the 2 scenarios. "The insecurities men feel during grooming procedures." What The Fuck? Is this supposed to be a common male thing in the macho man, alpha male world? Does anyone actually know a single man who feels insecure when going to the hairdressers? This is seriously embarrassing for my gender.

I do understand why women would feel safer with a female driver. What I (and some others here) have most issue with is not that, but rather that men don't have the same types of options available to them for whatever they feel they need. Not without someone coming along and saying something like "What the fuck - macho men shouldn't be feeling that way," at least.

And even though it will not make any difference to him, let me point out that I am not really a feminist. As far as activism goes, I should probably have my woman card revoked. I just cannot tolerate malicious stupidity.
