can A/anyone help with explaining why Mistresses always ask for Younger subs/slaves, yet also experince. i myself am seeking a Mistress in R?T to serve. yet at 43 am told by those older than me or around my age im to old. if i reply or answer a Younger Mistress im again told im told to old. How can a Mistress reqiure an experinced sub/slave with experince when it seems to come across that most require younger. is age trully that much of a factor.even at 43 im no less a slave than a 21 year old. id like to see O/others point of view on this matter.

It's a tough market, and age is only one factor. If you search the message threads, you will find lots from young submissive men complaining that Dommes don't take their profession of submission seriously as well. (See the new thread Trying so hard, for example)

For the record, my submissive of almost two years is 32, and my adorable new puppy of a couple of months is 43.

*Edited because reading the following thread at the time proved my point. lol (and then I mistyped it!)

It's a factor, but our preferences aren't etched in stone, either. It's a balancing act for us. We'd rather have someone with a combination of experience in this lifestyle, and experience in life itself, which leans us to look more at the 21-35 crowd.

As always, YMMV...

Don't give up hope, there are Dominants who are seeking subs of all ages.
For Me personally, I will not accept a male submissive under the age of 35. It is a personal preference, as I have found that those younger than that generally have not matured to the point where they can see beyond the end of their dick, and understand the true meaning of service and servitude. Now I know that will raise the hackles on many, (especially those under the age of 35) but it is simply what I desire. I'm the Mistress, and I make the Rules.

So, keep your chin up, and keep searching. Perhaps joining a local munch will be a good place to start seeking those with the same interests and goals. Best of luck to you.

Generally I think it just depends on what someone's preferences are. As a personal example of how varied they can be... I am 22. I own a slave who is 19, and have one under consideration who is 47. I am open to a wide variety of ages- it generally just depends on someone's fomer experiences and what they feel lifestyle and sexually attracted to.

I think if you stick with your search you'll find someone who appreciates and accepts you for the unique individual that you are, and who sees in you all that you have to offer that completes what they need.

The atttitude of many Domina's is "It's a buyers market" for male subs. They can pretty much get what they want & if they want young & pretty then they can get it. There is a lot of lip service given to maturity, experience & stability, but it doesn't seem to work out that way.

Dear brisslave and peterk5,

i get the "where is your experiance" line all the time and im 25 so sometimes age doesnt work for you when you are younger. i definately think its a combination of both that most want but all are different and seeking different things so dont give up, i certainly don't intend to!

I am 35, and I have considered someone older than 43. I place more importance on the way someone presents himself. I want a male who is capable of having fun, laughing and playing, but is mature enough to be serious about a relationship, his submission and his life in general.

If you write a great intro letter, and have a good profile, a woman may not be able to pass you up, even if you are slightly outside of her normal age criteria. There are many submissives out there; the key is to stand out from the crowd, and far too many of you don't bother to do so. I think your complaint post is longer than your profile... it's something to consider.

Age means everything. Youth, virility and beauty happens, and everyone is attracted to those to attributes. Age brings loss of energy, fat and wrinkles, which NONE of us enjoy seeing in our fantasy sub or slave.

It depends on the situation a dominant finds herself in as well. Remember not all of us are monogamous and this means we have to balance out everyone's needs and issues of compatibility.

While my age range preferences are 20-40, turns out that Fox is really focused on someone else in his/her 20s. He is 11 years younger than me and since he tends to hang with primarily my friends, he tends to hang out with people older than him. Since I personally perfer younger men, someone in their 20s is good for me too. However someone in his 30s who shared many of Fox's interests and was really into bondage plus a furry would get beyond Fox's own age perferences.

For me, anyone who starts to remind me of my older brother or my father or the men who abused me when I was a small child is a turn off so my age preferences are based around that. That are not going to change.

It would be nice if people would put age preferences in their profiles then each of us could waste less time writing to someone who is going to say "you're too old/young". Yes, the too young thing happens too especially if you are in the other role.

But even if someone has age preferences, meeting that range of ages is not an in to anything. There dozens of levels of compatbility.

I don't agree. He is 43.... not 80. Besides, I am not looking for a fantasy sub or slave... I want reality, and reality includes aging for all of us.

Age may bring a few more wrinkles, but it's the price we pay for further knowledge, experience, and maturity. Youth is a wonderful thing, but it's not 'everything'. One can be more alive later in life, than they were as a young adult. I like the way I look and act now, better than when I was 10 years younger.

Besides, in my opinion, it's hypocritical to expect only youth in your 'fantasy sub/slave', when you may be beyond the age of every slave's 'fantasy Dominant'.

The only thing I have about age is sometimes the males under 25 seem to be just too immature for Me.Of course there are exceptions and age isnt a main factor when picking a submissive.For Me its personality...if they act immature I pass them over,no matter what age,on the other hand older males that seem desperate are a no go for Me.The submissives I have now are between 30 and 60,this age group does have some that are still childish,but tolerable for Me.

Where are you looking? I do not find that to be the case here, for the most part. Personally I wil not consider anyone under 35...for a multitude of reasons.

Age means little, unless you are looking strictly for eye candy. I have met some older subs on here who would turn the heads of just about anyone breathing, and I have met younger boys who I wouldnt look twice at. However, andmaybe I am alone in this, looks are secondary. If I have a pet who is perfectly obedient, loyal, loving and affectionate, but might not be the prettiest thing walking, I am still going to love having him. Age doesnt even seem to matter with experience, or maturity. It is justa number that marks off how many years they have been here.
To tis end, I tend to keep younger subs. Not because they are better looking or becasue they are more trainable. But becasue I like their music and activities better. If I meet and older sub who I enjoy spending time with, I do so. Its more about how much you enjoy your life and how willing you are to go out and DO things, than it is how long you have been around.

i think often it is that it can be problematic to rule over somone whit so mutch more life experience then oneself if the sub is alot older than the Dom, however, i am not a Dom so i realy can not say.

I dont find that to be true for Myself.
I have a couple submissive males who are much older than I with more experience than I, they are 2 of the best I have on My worm farm.they are extremely polite and know their place.I find it to be easier at times because of their knowledge.
And sometimes I even learn something from them.
