Status: offline 		My boy is 21.  I am 29. Aside from the obvious comments people have made about me robbing the cradle, we do well together. I have almost always prefered younger men anyway. His friends think its cool that he has an older girlfriend. We have had "Mrs. Robinson" dedicated to us at least once.  But its all good, we are happy

Just think of it as good practice for when you go the the DMV needing to correct a problem. Never underestimate the benefit of the tranferable skills you're developing.

One little thing about rejection I'd just like to throw out there: in general women (and probably men too) aren't honest about it. Finding out the real reason behind a rejection requires a kind of social alchemy mortals don't possess.

Status: offline 		A lot of these guys who wish to serve, only wish to serve if their mistress shows no wrinkles, or sign of life and the wonderful things that it does to you. It keeps it a fantasy without bringing harsh realities into it. A lot of the dungeons I've been too, they require younger women with no piercings or visible tattoos. They always want blonde females, it's hard to find a fair skinned girl willing to adapt this lifestyle, WHO KNOWS WHY! If I was a switch I would definitely want a mistress older than I. She has more worldly experience, she knows this life style, doesn't just guess at it. I guess pretty arm candy still goes a long ways these days. Personally, I do not accept subs under the age of 21. Youth is to be cherished, not to be tarnished. They need to embrace their vitality, not destroy it. Everyone has their vices.

Oh I agree age means every thing. Some one under 30 is going to have a very hard time attracting me. I have a sub who posted his age as 44 until we were comfortable with each other then guilt got the better of him and the extra ten years were admitted. It made no diffence in how I felt about him and I understood his reasons. By the way I am 36.

And a comment on the 'fantasy sub' ......Whoa! If you are looking for fantasy are you truly Dom/me or sub either one. That sounds a lot like a wanna be to me.

29 and below:  Too much hormones for me. They are into the thrill aspect and sex is the motivation. Nothing wrong with that.  I'm just too old for that ride :)

30-40:  Setting down a bit and looking for a LTR usually - BDSM is a means to an end.  I'm not looking so I'm not interested .  Again- nothing wroing with the age.. I'm just not available.

40-49:  This is the mid-life crisis stage.  People are "finally going to try something they always wanted to do!" and to hell with what anybody says.  They are emotionallly vulnerable at this stage being most are married or divorced. If they DO get "into it".. they have this baggage looming overhead.   They had better have their ducks in a row before they begin.

50-65:  Pretty much know who they are and what they want.  This is my reference because we share the same decade of life growing up.  They  have slowed down and think things through before they act.   Even it they haven't, they have learned the value of patience.

65-over:  I won't know until I get there-  Bless ya until then :)

Check my profile if you really wanna know(smirks).I play with mostly that age group and a few younger. Love 'em all,if they are nice to begin with. My preference? Simply,legal age and able/ready to play!

Status: offline 		I was involved in a poly family the youngest besides me being 43, which seems to agree with the young is good hypothesis the OP fields.  However, I met these people at a munch and only after they saw I was far more mature than my age would indicate were they really interested in me.  I've long ago given up on finding anyone online.  I've had some good conversations with people from here, but I keep my expectations of finding someone important to me on sites like this to a minimum.  I think this is a grass is greener on the other side kind of topic.  It's not easy for a sincere male sub on the internet no matter what age you are.

I agree with what yo have said here.. Nothing beats getting out in public and your face seen and your personality shine.   You will find that most sucessful D/s realationships  were just dumb luck.  Being at the right place at the right time.

Status: offline 		I must admit that I prefer men who are younger than myself and always have done – and this is going back way before I knew of this lifestyle.  Past partners have been anywhere between 6 months and 25 years younger than myself.  At one time I said I would never go with anyone under 25 again – just too mentally/emotionaly immature.  Now I kinda set a 25 year difference as my limit – which works quite well. 

And no, I hasten to add, it is not because I want someone drop-dead gorgeous with matching 6 pack – I just get on better with younger guys.  That is not to say that I havent had the odd drop-dead etc etc *grins*

I think men tend to fantasize more about what kind of sub/slave they want (poor fools. lol) and it is usually a young, nubile Gor type slave, and a brain is an optional extra – usually not required.
Women tend to be more practical in their requirements – of course. *grins*  So most of us arent looking for eye candy but for someone who can “do their job well”.

I agree, Jennifer :)  The FIRST thing I notice and look for..is WILL he LISTEN and WILL HE LEARN.

Status: offline 		In my experiance it really depends ....lol...First off I am also 43....I gennerally will not even try to contact Ladies under 37 or 38...For most of the same resions some women have stated for not taking anyone under 35...It amounts to experiance in life AND in Femdom..I have been around Femdom since the age of 16.....A Lady of 25 for me ,.... will gennerally  not have the maturity and experiance that I seek. While she may be 120 lbs.  and Lovely ... fun to look at and even "scene" with...That is where it will generally end for me...I find that People seeking that deeper level of D/s femdom will be around my age and even above....So again it really depends on what people are looking for....People in the over 35 croud are gennerally not going to care if you are 43..at least that has been the case with me
