This reminds me of the time where libs were kicking a fuss about the no making cakes for gay people stuffs.

Honestly, I have no problems with this restaurant refusing Trump Voters at all. It is their right to choose their customers.

This is a restaurant in Honolulu anyway.

Perhaps we will start seeing more of this around the US.

Status: offline 		Both cases are examples of discrimination, and both are unacceptable. There are differences of course, but imo no one should be able to discriminate because of their political beliefs. Not all Trump voters are racist, mysogynistic, or deplorable. Many just saw no better alternative to a woman that represented the mainstream establishment. Pretty obvious that if Bernie was the candidate, he would have easily won.

Heavy...please explain how it's o.k. to hate on someone who fits your preconceived notion of what something is...in this case, fascism...but not o.k. to hate on something that you deem acceptable. Please cite the appropriate section of the Constitution that allows this type of discrimination. Then please cite how this fits under the tolerance banner of "acceptance of differing views" that progressives like to bring out and parade under.

If I ever saw a sign like that I would not go there. Even IF, and that is a big IF, I had voted for Clinton. Not that I would ever, but say they ran someone good.

I would respect the restaurateur's wishes and take my business (and my 25-33% tip) elsewhere. I'd make sure their wait staff found out about it, though.

If there were a rash of voters who had voted for President-Elect Trump going into this restaurant and shooting the joint up ... or, if there were trucks, driven by "Trump voters" driving into the front window, it might be equivalent to the dangers this country faces from immigrants from countries where terrorists have a hold.

The rest is just smoke-filled coffee house crap and hardly unexpected considering the precincts from which it originates.

It would take a long time to define fascism, but an easy way to look at it is as authoritarian nationalism that merges corporate and political power. Fascist leaders typically use rhetoric that is loaded with persecution fantasies that justify aggression.

Trump sold himself as exactly that-- an authoritarian who would restore some phony nostalgic vision of America by getting tough with foreign oppressors. He didn't tell you that America is strong, he told you it was weak... and he blamed the weakness on Muslims, illegals, China, etc... and of course on the people who refused to get tough with them. He has already bribed a billion dollar corporation to stay in America as a propaganda gesture, and has loaded his cabinet with crony capitalists... I can't see too many scenarios in which he doesn't end up being a fascist leader hopefully kept in check by the American political system.

I didn't say it was 'okay', I said I understood it--like I said, fighting discrimination with discrimination never works. I've already explained why I think Trump is a fascist... so do you think that we should all learn to accept and love fascism? So acceptance of Neo-nazis is, in your mind, equivalent to acceptance of say, black people or homosexuals?

I don't know what the constitution has to do with anything, and I don't know why you think progressives are supposed to be universally accepting of absolutely everything and everyone. Nobody is accepting of everything and everyone unless they're one of those people with no beliefs or values whatsoever-- the kind of people who think they can make everyone happy all the time. It doesn't work.

The advert is offensive. As for “voting” most people don’t have a clue what they are voting for..so lets exclude all of them too :). Mind you the fact most candidates are lying scalawags doe not hep either.
