ORIGINAL: tamaka No... my argument is that no one should be able to make that kind of money. The money he has is way beyond the proportion of any 'Work' he has done. Money is made for circulation. This sounds very bernie sanders. For me, I respect anybody who is able to make money by doing as little as they can. And my personal life goal is to make a living by doing as little as I can. My direction of thoughts is always towards how to make this happen and this is what I want to happen in my life. So that I will always have alot of freedom of time to pursue hobbies. Because it just shows the ability to lateral think and find a way to live life differently from the Norm. In a way, it is intelligence. The only other thing I respect as equally is somebody sacrificing money to do what he or she loves doing. And those people can work their ass off, making very little. Like teaching for example. Not exactly a billionaire job. But fulfilling to the soul if it's something they really love and enjoy. It's joy everyday. Have you ever heard of anyone who can make multi-millions, work only 2 hours a day, and able to be sole provider for his family and be house husband, personal care taker of his kids, because he don't need to spend alot of time at work and the income still comes in. I know somebody like this. He is amazing. He irons, change diapers, wants to be completely hands on with his kids, and since the day he graduate, he told himself, he ain't gonna be a slave to employers and chart his own path. I gain alot of inspiration from people like that. Some people like this just came from having a lateral mind. A very lateral mind to figure out how this is possible. And even if he taught me his formula, which is he would be more than happy to, I wouldn't be able to re-create his outcome, because I do not have his personality, diplomacy and his ability to negotiate deals that will set him up for life with companies, with reoccuring income. And my world view is, who is poor and who is rich is reliant on 2 things. Natural born talents, like singers, actors, athletes, may not be intelligent but have a gift that can bring them millions. The other thing is lateral intelligence. Book smarts, PHD may not get you to wealth as those aren't lateral thinkers, even a traditional high IQ may not get you to wealth. So ya, if ya lack either of those things, prepare to be poor. Or figure out how to think laterally and change your life. Because Lateral intelligence is what brings people from the most unlikely background to one of the world's richest man. Take Alibaba Founder for example.
