Musicmystery -> Will the US split (eventually)? How would your state/region fare? (1/31/2017 6:23:37 AM)

Are the differences so great that partisans don't want them solved? Will the US (eventually) split up?

How would your state/region fare?

California, New York, and Texas could probably make it as independent countries -- they have strong economies and sea ports, for example.

How would the split go? West Coast, Northeast, Texas, Heartland?

Here's where your state ranks by economy.

And here are the states compared to nations by economy.

Where would you fit?

And would you prefer a divided America?

I am kinda hoping that Nevada joins Calif. but then any of the state(s) helping to provide about 40 million people with fresh water...would have to come with us.

I prefer that liberals move to Sweden or cuba. or at least stop spamming the forum with their chicken little, boy crying wolf, panties in a twist nonsense.

Dude. It's a hypothetical question.

Don't care for it, visit a different thread.

bounty44 -> RE: Will the US split (eventually)? How would your state/region fare? (1/31/2017 7:08:50 AM)

yeah because one can totally tell based on your recent hysteria and all the "hypothetical" language in your post that that's what you were thinking.

I glad I was able to assist your reading comprehension.

Now, here's the OP:

I could go for a NY/New England nation.

I'm in Florida, so unless we go back to the Greek method of city-states, my only hope is to be extremely confused with every election for the rest of my life.

No they wouldn't, you would just wish they had.

Are you sure about the "California, New York" part of it? The former being the fount of predatory mortgage lending and the latter being the prime capitalizers thereby? (Fraudulent structured finance 'securetization,' fraudulent credit ratings, predatory 'consumer lending,' and all that.)

Who would bail them out, post USA? With out further stealing wealth from everybody else in the country as before, even beyond that obtained by the wealth predation of the CA/NY financial segment already?

"I could go for a NY/New England nation."

So could the rest of the country, to great benefit. Throw California into that mess and the remaining country is ten times better off already, before we even put the dot at end of the eviction order.

The blue states should stop carrying the red states.
They've gone all the way from dead weight to cancer.

You want anything that will weaken the U S, your opinion is meaningless.

I don't think it's fair that a piece of shit like Trump should be making rules for people who despise everything he represents.

Sorry you missed out, bro, but the rest of the country absolutely bailed out NY and California in the financial crisis, with Idaho and Iowa and Alabama and Kansas tax money to bail out NYC in 1975, etc. You've got it 'bass ackwards' there.

Those two states are cancer upon the country, and upon society, in fact.

That is why you want to find someone with the guts to kill him so they pay the price for what you want done. You are nothing but a rabble-rouser.

Oh, but you are taking "who they voted for" as final arbiter of all things.

Californians also voted to relieve Chevron of any royalty payments for oil drilled in their state, also allowed by law the most heinous lending practices that all the rest of the country eventually had to pay for.

But all you can do do is blurt (more likely burp) something about 'blue states' and 'red states.'

Fucking loser, if ever there was.

But it was ok when Obama did it?

Edwird -> RE: Will the US split (eventually)? How would your state/region fare? (1/31/2017 6:52:18 PM)

It was OK when Reagan and Bush did it.

Just STFU about the executive order thing and quit acting like Obama invented it.

Their welfare would dry up pretty quickly if they allowed the biggest economies to collapse.

Oh, I guess I'm the only one who wants Trump removed from office.
There isn't a massive global opposition to him (all of it perfectly justified).
