You're confusing anger with exasperation. The rest, is spot on.

Here's a visual aid for that the dwarf that might better help him understand the point he's missing:

I can tell you that in NC a lot of people bring their Bible to the hockey games to read before the game starts. I wouldn't have believed it if i hadn't seen it with my own eyes!

Why are they not punished?

Have you once ever heard me bitch about Muslims banning women from wearing make up?

No. Because THAT is not written in the Quran that woman cannot wear make up.

What it says in the Quran is cover up everything except what is necessary. And women can wear western clothing and be fully covered up too and not show skin too. So Indonesian and Malaysian women are following the islamic teachings, as it is.

The Arab implement a standardise dress code like that ugly black things. A uniform that all woman can follow. Cover up except what is necessary.

Malaysia and Indonesia is more slack in a way where, as long as they cover up, they can wear whatever they want, as long as it still covers up and don't show skin.

My main complaint was women not being allowed to show skin AND women getting beaten by their husbands.

So don't distract from the issue. Muslim women can wear make up. While there are Islamic males who would use the part of the verse which says, "women are not to draw attention to themselves", and they feel make up attracts attention. They may use that part to ban Muslim women from make up in some Muslim countries. But in Indonesia and Malaysia. They don't consider make up something that attracts attention.

AFTER ALL, the key to make up these days is to cover blemishes and wear alot of make up but look like you don't have make up in your face at all. It's the natural beauty look.

How do you think Male Actors wear make up?

tamaka -> RE: Trump Deportation Plan and bringing safe toilets back (2/26/2017 1:42:20 PM)

Funny thing is that i haven't worn make up in years and my skin has never looked better!

Either you or your friend is a liar, but no surprise that liars prefer each others' company.

So what reason could someone from North Carolina, who has lived there all his life and is still living there have to be lying to me about that?

I don't wear make up either.
But alot of Muslim women do.
I figured it's because they gotta cover their hair, so then they gotta brighten up their face.

For me, my hair is one of my assets. I feel like as long as I fix my hair nicely, I never need make up.

I never get why they gotta hide their hair like a nun. Of course it's from the Quran. Show only what is necessary.

Let's break it down slowly. Because I am not trying to bust your chops. I'm just trying to say, she has a valid point, even if it's an angry one aimed at you.

The world has all these transgenders, and they are all to date innocent of rape charges.
...but...
some people dress as women and do invasive or rape-y or violent things to women.
...so...
you make them use private bathrooms.

The world has all the black people.
...but...
some of them attack people in bathrooms.
...so...
you make them use private bathrooms?

I want to challenge you to take anger out of it and see, she actually has a fair point. It's not racist, unless you apply it to race, which you would never do, I take it. So what she's saying is, your fix doesn't work for the transgendered, either.

You are making an analogy where there isn't one by replacing a small group of people with that of a whole race/colour.
I don't see that there is a point she's making except a strawman.

And I've never offered a fix for TG's.
All I've said is that your statement that TG's don't rape was a misnomer and untrue.

And a friend from North Carolina told me in his state. Sleeping together in the same room for a couple is not a norm. Usually couples have separate bedrooms. And only come into the same room for sex.

Either you or your friend is a liar, but no surprise that liars prefer each others' company.

I lived in North Carolina for 30+ years and only once came upon a household where husband and wife had separate bedrooms. Even my few 'very rich' friends' parents slept in one room, the same bed. As for anyone of lower income; who can afford the extra bedroom? Perhaps you are confuzzled by watching 1950's US TV (television, not the trans thing) shows where the unspoken rule was to have separate beds ("Oh Ricky!" "Oh Lucy!"). Like anything on TV, then or now, nothing to do with reality. Least of all the 'reality' shows.

We also have several friends in NC and they don't know of couples who sleep in separate rooms either.

I'm wondering who these people are that Greta gets her info from because it doesn't seem to fit reality.

There is a missionary position for typing?

This whole thread is about Obama's EO to allow TG's to use the restroom of their personal perceived gender rather than their assigned gender and what Trump is doing in rescinding it.

I don't think I'm missing anything.

See my post#188.
What you are asserting doesn't fit the reality that we are seeing - including our friends and their families who are still living there in NC.

There was a time in this country when blacks were not allowed to use the same restoom as whites. Do you think the blacks were worried about the toilet or the drinking fountain or the seat on the bus or were they interested in equality of rights and human dignity.
As I said, if you think this is about the shithouse you are mistaken.

Well, then IF every school has just one bathroom for everybody.

Then there would be no debate about which toilet can transgender use.

But personally in Asia. We women would never want to share bathroom with males EVER.

They can't aim. And they pee all over the toilet seats.

It's disgusting.

My x-husband use to pee sitting down on toilet seat, so we don't have that whole toilet seat up or down problem. Or any residue accidental splashes on toilet seats.

When I was working at a brand new hospital in Singapore the Matron had to gather all the female nurses together to explain to them how to use the toilet. Most of them were standing on the seat facing the wall and squatting to pee and never cleaning the stray liquid off of the seat or clean their shoe print. That is my experience of Singapore.

What is the name of the hospital? I would love to read more about it.

The hospital was called St Marks and it was in Changi. I was there in the early 80s as part of the commisioning team. The hospital was managed by an american company called AMI.

Yet National Sleep Foundation in the US states that 1 out of 4 couples sleep in separate beds in the US.

That's alot! Fits my reality.

It is also possible that the people you and Edwird run with does not sleep in separate bedroom and this friend of mine happen to have a community of friends who believe in doing that in NC.

1 out of 4 couples is still high statistic.

In the 1980's, I was just born. And I have never even heard of this hospital. We have a Changi Hospital.

But in the 1980's which is still a very long time ago. It is possible many are still using squats. When I grew up in the 1980's, my flat that I grew up in, has hole in the ground toilets only. Only later when I was 13, was our toilet upgraded to regular sitting ones.

But as I thought. It was very long ago. Not a recent thing. I was probably just 1 yr old then. Most people have hole in the ground toilets at home. The regular toilet in that hospital back then was something very new to them. So yes, it is possible they are Singaporeans in the 1980's who needed to be taught how to use normal toilets.

Probably for the same reason you insist on your bizarre fantasies vs. reality at every opportunity. Like attracts like, sometimes. I can't imagine you having many friends from wherever troubling you about facts or reality.

You have your one liar friend from N Carolina vs. ~9 million people from that state (or 5-8 million as when I lived there) with different experience. That's just you.
