Frankly, I don't care if a person says they are a really pain slut or not. They could be the most experienced person in the world. But if I have never seen them play and/or they have never seen me play... THEN WE ARE NEWBIE's TOGETHER!!!

I have played a few individuals that are very new and never had a problem..... Why because... I test things... I don't just jump into the deep end.

So... I agree with erin saying that a newbie should never say they are a pain slut.. masochist etc etc.... BUT, I add this....

No one should say it without the expressed or understood meaning that they are Masochist with X... X being a specific Top. I fully expect that at this time in Kyra's level of experience that no one could play her like I do. Her mindset to enjoying and enduring the pain is very much tied to me and our relationship. I suspect alot of bottoms are very much like that.... It's amazing how alittle trust is required for most before you can beat the shit out of them!!!! I think it is better to express that one can be very masochist given the right conditions occur. As Top and a Sadist..... I am smart enough to know that I need to understand and learn what conditions are required to send a bottom into a frenzy of pain and joy.

This is interesting....you know, me being a slave...and a woman who mightly enjoys a lot of pain.....I wouldn't call myself a painslut...I dunno, I find that term to be, insulting I suppose. As if all I'm interested in is the pain, is what "I" can get out of being with my Dom's....that's just me tho.
As far as who was at fault in this...well, I'd say both. Neither of them should've been doing this, being as new as the were, without having some safety knowledge, etc....IMHO.....
When I became involved with my Master and Lord, they both knew Ihad never been in a M/s relationship before, never had anyone practice S/M on me or with me. They took it slow...and it was discovered over a short amount of time, that indeed, I can take a lot of pain. To me, this was the way it was supposed to be...I would have had no respect for them, or myself if it had been a rushed thing, you know? Just my two cents or so on the topic.

Dominants complain about "do me" submissives and calling oneself a "painslut" could qualify as that, perhaps. JMHO also.

I write I have maso tendencies on the board, but it is only for the topic of discussion and hopeful understanding of a complicated topic. I am not bragging.. or even proud of it. I consider it a subjective perception.

I personally think we are all different and carry a different perspective on this .. even us with years of experience will differ .. I personally don't see the benefit of kikcing .. KoM does see it .. his girl is probably more of a pain slut then others . it's all in a perspective of the person. I have talked with some newbies who thought a spanking was excessive pain . I have also talked to newbies who say their is no limit to what they want to experience ... general rule of thumb is to talk with them ... find out the reality of the situation. Make sure both parties are on the same level with each other BEFORE play is done. and by god with me you had better be upfront in your ideas of what pain play is . because I know I can dish it out and not grow weary . and if you think Iam rough step to KoM . He, I believe is more Sadistic then even I am

The first time I watched my Lord play, part of it was a kicking scene with alandra. Scared the crap out of me and I thought "no way in hell do I want him to do that to me!".... Six months later, I initiate it during a scene by kicking him. His response, was "oh, you want to play that way", snatched his boots off and proceeded to kick the hell out of me. I loved every second of it. It looks intense and the new couple at the club that night were a little overwhelmed by it. However, it is not as painful as you might think. At least not from my perspective. I find the cane and the paddle to be much more painful.

To me, if you like thuddy, then you will most likely like kicking. When he does it with his boots on, it just adds even more thud. *sighs* would have been so nice to get my ass kicked good while overlooking the strip in Ft Lauderdale. Maybe another time.

omg saying one is a pain slut without being exposed to the pain that could be inflicted without previous knowledge is just as bad as saying you have no limits when you have not even gone into your mind enough to understand 1/10 of the possibilities that abound within the lifestyle. But it happens more often than not unfortunately.
