ORIGINAL: vincentML Come to think of it, has O'Reilly ever interviewed a strong black woman on his show? Nah . . . . coward. I am sure he has had "strong blacks" on And all it takes to be a woman is to say you are a woman (according to the Great Barack) So... sorry Vincent (which is really a way of saying you are wrong), I have indeed seen oreilly interview black women...and black men, and white women, and whack jobs, and normal people, liberals, conservatives, muslims, christians, catholics, pro abortion, pro life, lawyers, doctors and indian chiefs even, hate mongers too, etc...the last thing he is is a coward. now, as for the "strong" part---I suppose that adjective doesn't work if the interviewee doesn't agree with your worldview right? that said, how on earth would you even know? do you watch oreilly regularly? maybe you have guest lists that go back 20 something years?? and those guest lists are missing the words "black" and "strong" from them?? any idea how foolish it is to act like you know things when you clearly don't? I'll give you this Bounty, at least you make an effort at being civil. The "strong black woman" is admittedly a stereotype that has its advantages and its detriments. I did not invent the stereotype and some black writers will dwell on the negatives. However, I am taking Maxine Water's definition and laying it over the many black women I have worked with who just simply would not be intimidated by anyone. Here is a list of guests who have appeared on Bill O'Reilly's 598 episodes between 2005 and 2017. There are hardly 4 or 5 black women guests. The only one I might consider to be a strong, take-no-shit woman would be Dr. Jocylen Elders who was appointed Surgeon General of the United States and then fired by President Bill Clinton who was frightened over her remarks on legalizing drugs as a deterrent to crime and teaching masturbation as a deterrent to early pregnancies. Poor Bill, caught between a white rock at home and a black hard place at work. Dr. Elders was not easily intimidated. Regards . . .
