Me...when they have a mini van (sue me) that gets 650 miles on a charge that can be recharged on a 110 in 6 hours....I'm in.

Not until you learn how to do arithmetic. Six hundred and fifty miles would require a battery of nearly 300kw. One hundred and ten volts
at twenty amps is about two kw per hour.

Base model tesla model s start at $62,000.
Look on ebay and craigs list to find fully equipped tesla model s in the 50-60 k range.

Base model is under 40K.

You are full of shit.

Google how long tesla batteries last.

If you had bothered to follow your own advice you would not have posted the moronic shit that follows.

You have to swap out the batteries every 125,000 miles at $30,000 a pop.

the battery is guaranteed for 8 years and unlimited mileage dumbass.
The replacement cost is $12,000 after the guarantee is expired.

I'm fairly confident you've attempted to emphasize that point more than multiple times in the past.

Base Tesla is still, regardless of your opinion about my mental capacity....under 40 grand.

hey troll:

"Confirmed: The $35,000 Tesla Model 3 Was Unveiled in March 2016"

quote:

UPDATE, February 2016: We're getting close to the March 2016 mark when Elon Musk told the world that Tesla would reveal the Model 3, it's new, more affordable take on the electric car. But Musk now says the event at the end of next month may not, in fact, be a full reveal. Musk promised only "the first pictures of the Model 3," meaning some of the details about the much-anticipated EV could remain in a dark deeper into 2016.

Musk also confirmed, in a Feb. 9 interview with Bloomberg, that the Model 3 will meet its promised price tag of $35,000, and that's before government incentives that could drive it significantly lower.

http://www.popularmechanics.com/cars/a12983/35000-tesla-model-iii-coming-in-2017/

quote:

Tesla has said that by the end of next year it will build 500,000 new Model 3 compacts, expected to sell for around $40,000.

http://www.detroitnews.com/story/business/autos/2017/04/13/tesla-pickup-truck/100426804/

quote:

Tesla has received more than 370,000 preorders for the Model 3, which will cost $40,000 to $45,000, depending on a customer’s specs.

http://www.wmay.com/2017/04/14/all-eyes-on-tesla-as-it-faces-its-biggest-hurdle-yet/

so the price went up a little from the "promised" price of UNDER 40k to ~40k----which effectively makes cervix correct, and you wrong, and then of course this:

quote:

If I disagree with another poster I will deliniate my disagreement with validation from reputable sources. When proved wrong I admit it and thank the poster for disabusing me of my ignorance. I have been proved wrong in less than a half dozen cases with more than 20,000 post.

you could have found that information yourself in just a couple of minutes of looking as opposed to sticking by your untenable position of 62k---as if tesla was only making one model and cervix wasn't talking about that??

so if you try to hang your hat on the "model s" distinction, youre going to look all the more a fool.

Once again you have been proved to be too phoquing stupid to walk and chew gum.

"The Sad Truths of Internet Trolls"

quote:

1. Serious trolls are immune to criticism and logical arguments. True trolls cannot be reasoned with, regardless of how sound your logical argument is.

2. Serious trolls do not feel remorse like you and me. They have sociopathic tendencies, and accordingly, they delight in other people having hurt feelings.

3. Trolls, in general, consider themselves separate from the social order.

4. Trolls do not abide by etiquette or the rules of common courtesy.

5. Trolls consider themselves above social responsibility.

6. Trolls gain energy by you insulting them.

7. Trolls gain energy when you get angry.

8. The only way to deal with an online troll is to ignore him, or take away his ability to post online.

Why Do People Enjoy Being Internet Trolls?

Ans: it is a kind of power rush or ego trip to be a troll. Being online is a place that is largely free of perceived consequences... an insecure person can get a sense of power online, without ever having to face someone directly. With the Internet being a world of imagination and fantasy for some, cowardly users can forge an alter ego for themselves, and act out their feelings of anger and inadequacy. It's sad and unfortunate that our advanced communications also brings out the darker side of many people.

Oh, and I wasn't talking about stored energy. Down in the basement of every energy company in the U.S. Is a group of people trying to balance their loads. They buy and sell electricity back and forth 24/7. The best source of extra energy is the coal plants. The extra energy mostly used in my area is bought from a coal plant in Montana for instance.

The worst source for extra energy is coal plants. And I dont give a glimmer of a fuck where you live, most of your energy does not come from a single coal plant in Montana, those auctions are minute by minute, hour by hour. I been in those rooms, not many in the basement, I have programmed those computers. Since that is the lifeblood of the power companies, that grid, forecasting and runs into the multimillion dollars an hour even in a town the size of fergus falls mn its about a million an hour, bad beats of a quarter million dollars are not uncommon. No, they are paid well, and that distribution and forecasting room is quite comfortable, well lit (if you want it) and snacks and diversions betwixt times aplenty. They probably work a very intense 20 minutes an hour, 10 before and 10 near the end of it, and the rest of the time who knows, they are on facebook or collarme or watching tv or reading the WSJ, or talking on the phone with the girlfriends.

Read the fine print dumbass

http://www.greencarreports.com/news/1096801_tesla-model-s-battery-life-how-much-range-loss-for-electric-car-over-time

quote:

It’s an especially worrisome question for Model S owners, for two reasons:
First, the list price of a replacement 85-kWh battery pack is a whopping $44,000. (That cost would presumably be reduced by the trade-in value of the old pack, a number that has not been publicly revealed as far as I know.)

quote:

Second, it’s a little-noticed fact that Tesla’s eight-year “infinite-mile” battery-pack warranty doesn’t actually guarantee any particular level of capacity. It only guarantees that the battery will work properly to propel the car.
