They are sick of the liberal bullshit, 75 % or so that I hear from got fucked with the ACA which was an ill conceived bill, pretty much written by the insurance companies to their own benefit and the only ones who benefitted from it were those with pre-existing conditions. Every motherfucker in any kind of good health in this country got fucked up the ass by the ACA. The couch potato diabetic eating candy and carbs benefitted, people who already had heart disease maybe, people who actually work and need dialysis possibly. But people somehow got the idea that all the sudden the insurance companies would start being in business to lose money instead of make money. The fact is they are going to make more money than ever.

And the people who passed it to the President did not read it, and the President did not read it. And the provisions I hear are ridiculous. If you are a 70 year old Man you are covered in case you need a hysterectomy. I'll agree that the republicans are pretty much brain dead, but the democrats are no better as far as I can see.

What I do see in this forum is alot of strict partisanship. I do not engage in that. They are all assholes. Trump was not the best choice for President, I know that, but Hillary Clinton would be worse. And at least now the boys in third grade have to go to the boysroom, rather than hear some bullshit about gender identity before they even get near puberty. The democrats simply went too far and the people said no.

And it wasn't just them running Clinton, they lost governors and seats in congress and a shitload more. For better or worse the People have spoken.

And I really doubt that things get much better. They are just as stupid but have different ideas, all a bunch of shit. The wall at the Mexican border is shit. Drugs come here in trucks, immigrants come by boat and whatever, or some vehicle. Very few of them actually just walk across the border. And the ones who do, to sell a few pounds of weed, I don't care. The shit should be legal anyway. And if they are selling weed they usually are not stealing, raping and robbing and all that. They deliver the "package" and be on their way. Maybe stop at a restaurant on the way back home with their money. I'm actually glad that BS got stonewalled. We can't afford it and it won't work. And if you put a tariff on car parts coming from Mexico, who do you think pays that ? WE DO. You think they're just going to lower their prices because of a tax ?

The worst people in any forum are the ones who take the TV news seriously. Iran wants to destroy Israel. Nope, they want a regime change. Why aren't you after North Korea which has made open and direct threats, and not mistranslated ? People just ignore shit like that. And to get informed you need many many sources and pretty much need to distill the truth from all of them. Fact is I am getting tired of it. There is no unbiased news source on this planet.

Discussing politics is damn hard enough, but it is even worse when half the people only get their "information" from US sources, and the BBC is not far behind. That is a shame because they were pretty unbiased in the past, but now they seem to be adhering to the status quo line. They still beat most US sources but they are not what they once were.

I will agree that personal attacks are out of hand here. However, they let us know who are the immature assholes. Let them cost themselves their credibility. Let them look like the assholes they are.
