Don't you think it is kind of strange the powers that the President has? I mean, it doesn't really make sense to me that a President, by himself, can say that we are friends with Cuba now, or we are not 'in' the Paris Agreement now, etc. But he can't say we won't allow people from certain countries here now because we can't vet them properly. It is a strange arrangement of power to me.

That's what happens you elect somebody who's stupid enough to think that the president is a limited term emperor and can ignore the other two branches of the government.
It's be nice to think that after the PR hiding the republicans got the last time they let an asshat of this pattern get their nomination for the presidency, they'd have been a bit more wary in future.

Actually he does have that power, the courts are in error. Once is gets to the supreme court they will straighten it out.

Or, since it has been a while and nobody took it to the supreme court maybe the plan is to let them in and let the people see how they like it. I say send them to those sanctuary cities.

There are borders for a reason. Countries have sovereignty for a reason. What I don't know is how people got brainwashed out of respecting that. It must have been going on for some time for them to be so ignorant o the fact. We got a guy on FL who says there should be no borders at all. Well he is not in the US, so good. Take down YOUR border, we'll keep ours up thank you.

You know, I can't even visit Canada because I had a DUI. Since I had more than one I can NEVER go to Canada. This is not a felony, and nobody got hurt. I have never hurt anyone driving, though I have paid for them to get "checked out". Yet I guess if I want to go to Alaska I have to fly or take a boat.

And then, Canadians can't get into the US if they admit they ever smoked pot without a medical card or it being legal. Again, not a felony. But from the middle east they have found fingerprints on bombs belonging to people they allowed in to the US.

I don't like this country anymore but there is nowhere to go. Maybe hell, that's about it.

You are absolutely wrong about this.

https://www.google.com/#q=constitutional+president+powers+immigration

A simple Google search got 16 million hits and the first page all says the same thing. Many sources.

Perhaps you should look things up once in a while.

Another minus five on the credibility.

Sure. After getting a taste of their attitude I have no use for Canadians, Aussies or Brits. Or you.

Butt ultrasickening liberals seem to think it is OK for other countries to have all kinds of strict standards for entry but the US should just open up its borders to billions of new welfare recipients. Well they can go fuck themselves. Britain tried that bullshit and what they got is a vote to get the fuck out of the EU, for better or worse on their economy.

Wherever you are, I hope you get what's coming to you.
