Opposing the increasing tendency of late capitalism to try to reinstate feudalism as the economic set up that best suits the unregulated free market is considered luddism now?

Where is this feudalism being reinstated?
Where is this unregulated free market? And, who is arguing for an unregulated free market?
Please also note the use of the adjective, "quasi-." It's important.

Wherever capitalists cry for freedom from oppressive government regulation and taxation, and the capitalists who don't like having to pay taxes or being expected to provide safe working conditions for their employees.

Well, you have no examples except vague generalities? Huh. Shocking.

Do you have any idea how pathetic that sounds coming from somebody who's spent a whole thread failing to provide a single scrap of evidence for any statement you've made?

Where was I asked for any evidence?

Doesn't matter whether you were or not if you're complaining about others not offering it.

You see no difference between my not presenting any evidence when I'm not asked, and you not presenting any evidence WHEN asked?

Defensive much?

Irony.

You didn't ask, you merely sneered because I didn't provide examples immediately. Not quite the same thing, and a bit feeble coming from somebody who's spent the whole thread talking in wide brush generalisations.
Clear now?

For the most part, leftists are literally insane.

They're howlers.

You must have missed Post#273 where I did ask. Oh, wait. You responded to Post#273, and have been quoting it in your responses with me since. Huh.

It's called an answer.
That's why you whining about not getting one is a bit off.

And I answered, which does beg the question of what the fuck you're throwing a hissy fit about.

You responded without answering.

It's pretty interesting what you consider a "hissy fit," too.

Well I tell you what: when you start answering rather than responding yourself, then you can throw a hissy fit without looking like you're indulging in special pleading.

MrRodgers -> RE: Is every American is entitled to eat? (7/28/2017 11:59:19 AM)

No, Americans are not entitled to eat. Only the profitable get to eat and for yes...bringing in a profit.

Now for those who make many times more than you make and pay 1/2 the tax rate you do, they...just eat better.

Rate... did you say rate? See no one cares about that. They just think that the rich must pay waaaaaayyyyyyyyy more money than we do so as Americans, we should cut them some slack. I mean, most people think like that, don't they?

Well first, the problem with those that try to defend the rate, use the percentage of all taxes paid as a ruse to suggest that the say top 5% are paying more then they should.

Ask yourself how it is that people paying at 1/2 the highest rate, end up paying more in total taxes than you or me ? It's because they make so many more million$ than we do, that's how. (Dir. of IMF "95% of ALL new wealth since 2008, has gone to the top 1%")

First of all, nobody pays more than they should. Everybody tries to take advantage of the tax code however they see fit. Then the top 1% with all of those million$ in free speech in the bank, now have a much louder voice. They get the rates they pay for.

We don't have that kind of influence, not enough free speech...in the bank.
