And again, the semantics here is not the point.

You two have fun with your introverted samurai.

God forbid you should learn something.

Can an extrovert be timid and shy? How?

The point of introversion is being around people stresses you up.

Nope.

If you are comfortable around people and they don't drain the energy out of you. You are an extrovert. The very definition of Introversion is the draining of energy you feel around company.
Introverts likes being alone alot. It recharges them. Extroverts gets their recharge from being around people.

I am thinking about how the article says Japan rewards introverted people.

Basically Japan rewards people who don't speak out and just timidly follows and obey.

Not sure if that is rewarding introverts.

That would be introverted.

Not really. Introverts aren't necessarily uncomfortable around people. They just don't require being around people in order to perform well. Extroverts require stimulation from others to perform well.

Without reading the link...Finland, Switzerland, Lichtenstein, Luxembourg. Maybe a few others. Maybe even Norway. Probably feel as if it serves them well.

So all those pics I saw of 'roos with pouch full of oranges, hiding their navel, was a stratagem of evolution to confuse those in the Northern hemisphere and keep us away.

Except for some. Not that they or anyone else can understand the rules of English spelling, but they seem to have taken some notion of our inconsistency in matters of our own language. Insightful of them.

You mean there are actually rules to English spelling ? Every time I was taught any kind of hard and fast rule in English at school, it was always followed by, "EXCEPT da da da da da da !!!"

Ought to have been taught that thought though, when we fought for the fort.

Do you think that a picture of a few odd people represents their society as a whole? Geeze.

If that's good enough for the moslems, it's good enough for the Japanese.

Darling, try to understand something, the problem with Muslims is not the actual people... it is the ideology that they follow. Try to think a little.

Yup, there is this problem that people take it so personally when we attack the ideology. They take it personally that they are under attack.

But it's their beliefs that is under attack.

It just reminds me of my girlfriend when I insulted Pantera, the band she worshiped, and she got mad at me, because she said if I insulted Pantera, I was insulting her. It's like....

I'm aware it's a difficult concept for you to grasp, but if you're going to lump together a surprisingly disparate shitload of arabs, asians, africans and anybody else who takes the koran seriously with the palestinians who got excited when a couple of ugly buildings got knocked over in New York, then dismissing the whole of Japan as panty sniffers, perverts, punks and fans of underaged black metal bands isn't much of a stretch by comparison, is it?
