ORIGINAL: vincentML . . . will take place on July 20th. He will be 70 years old on July 9th. If parole is denied he will have to wait five years for another hearing. He has spent nine years jail time on a 33 year sentence for the botched burglary attempt to regain his sports memorabilia from two dealers. He or one of his helpers was armed with a gun during the event. I have a lot of trouble finding sympathy for the guy after the brutal murder of his ex-wife Nicole Brown and Ronald Goldman. Like many people I believe he got away with murder. The question is: should we put the murder event to rest and accept that OJ paid his debt for the robbery, or do we as a society owe it to Nicole and Ronald to hope OJ dies in jail? I won't deny there is racial bias in my ruminations. What do you think? SOURCE He was sentenced to 33 years for the robbery, when he has served each and every one of those years then he should be released.. jmo... Remember, this wasnt just any robbery,.. it was a robbery to keep items he used to own from the Goldmans & Browns for their civil suit.. and he was convicted on 12 counts, including conspiracy to commit a crime, robbery, assault and kidnapping with a deadly weapon.. He hasnt paid his debt yet.. nope.. Oh, I wasn't aware of that. Thanks. From the early replies it seems that OJ warrants no sympathy here.
