im actually a little dismayed by the quote from the university that bosco shared in the OP, distancing themselves from the woman and her position. they missed an opportunity to promote the exchange of ideas, however distasteful some ideas might be.


I'm not surprised, it is a business and it has a Board which isn't going to be happy with bad press and potential loss of income. Although people often say they will never send their kids to such and such, but outrage fueled by current events is too soon forgotten.

A nice brochure and the convenience of having their kids close, will likely wipe the outrage away like it never happened.


its possible that some daring administrators could turn the "outrage" into a drawing point and an opportunity for the school.

but I agree with your thoughts though about "soon forgotten."

I have three friends actually who have sent/are sending/will be sending their kids there.

As an anthropology professor she has standing to make the observations that she made.

But the only mistake the professor made is bring the word "white" into it.

Because there are spoilt kids like these from every races.

But this one seriously been brought up to be beyond delusional to think he can go into a place like North Korea and seriously not get caught. He was so cocky he stole a damn fucking big poster! I just could not believe how big the poster was, that was involve. And what was his plan when they freaking ransack your every luggage before you leave. They even want to inspect your phone to vet the photos. Graduated from University but seriously no brains.
