But I don't understand Bama's claim that the buffalo killings, or HaveRopeWillBind's claim that the communicable diseases via blankets spread to the American Natives, are such 'deep dark' secrets. I dropped out at age 16 (as soon as legally possible) and spent a lot of time in the library to learn what I actually wanted to learn, so admittedly I don't have the same educational experience as others, but anyone with an eyelid half open would be aware of all that about the buffaloes and blankets, along with the trail-of-tears marching of the Cherokee to Western territory. Maybe traditional education sucks even more than I thought. But actually, I think that some are just looking to find convenient-to-purpose conspiracy where it doesn't exist. It's just Empire, folks. It has ever been thus. But I have to admit: dragging the oppressed into being the oppressors was a pretty neat trick, bama, even however sloppy the rationalization to that end.
