Status: offline 		Seriously..., I think the biggest problem with the American Police Force is they are sooooo jumpy and scared of everything. This is an action of panic and fear! And this dude should not be a cop!

He walks into people's private property and their dogs are just doing their job to bark at him and he shoots them?

Only the title portion of the article would show, so I have some questions.
First I would point out that the chief says that the department is helping with the vet bills.
Second the title says the dogs charged the cop, this has bearing on how reasonable he was.
Third, and as I see it, why was the cop there in the 1st place.
At least on the surface the police statements indicate that they did something wrong.

Well, if you click on the link, it shows video evidence of the whole incident.

The dog look like it was just standing like at least 3 feet away from the cop and just barking at him and then he took out his gun and shot the first one, when the second one saw the first one got shot, the second did charge at him, don't blame that dog for defending his friend, and then he shot the second dog too.

End of the day, they need better training to deal with pet dogs. Not shoot them! They are trespassing private property. The dogs were just protecting the site.

If it's some wild feral dog on a rampage hurting people, so sure, shoot it. These are guard dogs and he was in an area where they were guarding.

I think he over-reacted and panic. I just think they need to choose cops who can deal with stress situations with absolutely calmness. Then all these type of panic shootings won't happen.

Well, if you click on the link, it shows video evidence of the whole incident.

What kind of dog was it?
Was it tied up?
And why was the cop there in the first place?
Big difference between it being a drug raid (NOT SAYING IT WAS) and the cop just wandering into the back yard (NOT SAYING THAT EITHER).

There was a reported burglary in that area and he was there to investigate a burglary, but it was unclear what he was doing in that owner's backyard and if it's proper protocol for him to climb into the backyard through the fence.

Of course the dogs were not tied up because they were running free in their owner's home backyard. That's normal right?

I am feeling for those dogs as they are just innocent pet dogs doing their job.

Really, you should invest in an upgrade for your computer. No wonder you never seem to know what is going on. Here's a video of the incident. The dogs greeted the cop with tails wagging. They could not have been more friendly. Just a cowardly, lying asshole with a spastic trigger finger.

I know that the police over there can shoot niggers with impunity, but should they be calling them "dogs" as well? Some of these uppity darkies are moslems, and they find dogs quite as icky as they do pigs.

The cops responded to a call that someone was threatening people with a gun.
The kid pointed what looked like a real gun at them as soon as the cops got out of the car.
Were they supposed to let him shoot them before they responded?
Of course not. Tragically the kid was terminally stupid. A Darwin award winner. The jury agreed with me.
