One preaches hate...uses Nazi symbolism... and is racists... their stance is unforgivable... they are the ones that killed.

The other side has also used violence but in defense of their families and right to exist equally in this country. I do not condone their violence but I sure understand it. If a group of people were wanting to take my rights away I would fight... would you?

Nnanji ... if we were face to face and you started calling me names... threatened to hang me and my family... tell me I would have no rights when I took the country back...To me it would be a fight for survival and I would do more than just punch you in the nose... If things were reversed I'll bet you would do the same.

One side has right on their side... the other hate.

ps... There is no way a police force can stop violence if people are determined to pursue it.... I'll bet the Charlottesville police just love how you and your like are criticizing them...as they prepare to bury their dead comrades.

I would hazard to guess that being the little coward you are, that if a dozen or so people were attacking your car with sticks you'd have stomped on the accelerator as well. I do...you do...they do... have the right to defend themselves...they are not disagreeing with someone with just a difference of opinion... they are disagreeing with people who run them over with cars.... threaten to take their rights away... subjugate their children to their whims in the future . There would not be any confrontations if it were just a statue... this was one group advocating taking the same rights away that they enjoy. There is no getting around that ... you are either against them without excuses or you are a racists. The instigation for violence was the congregating of racists with the agenda of subjugating non-whites. There would be no for counter protesters without them.

I'm not sure you're aware, but things have changed. Dems took a beating over Civil Rights in the 1960s. Trent Lott got booted out of the Senate for Dixiecrat remarks. We had a black president (well, 1/2 black). He even got re-elected. Then a nasty lowest-common denominator got elected on a platform of hate and promising huge plans with no details that never materialized.

Then a bunch of KKK and neo-Nazi folks decided to invade a town over a statue and to remind the hate-monger who helped elect him.

A lot of people (they could be leftist -- I actually don't know who they are for certain) were appalled armed white supremacists could try to intimidate a town, and showed up to oppose the hate. These two groups naturally didn't like each other. Government tried to prevent the clash by changing the permits, but a Bush appointee judge put a stop to that, resulting in violence that injured several people and killed three when a white nationalist rammed his car into the crowd.

That's the history.

Now, you can spin and spin and spin, but bottom line, today's white supremacists created this problem, including murdering three people.

Interesting by continually (and weirdly) trying to make this a leftist issue, you've solidly aligned the right with the neo-Nazis.

Congratulations--you've become radicalized. You're gonna need a couple of flags.
