Nope, none of that makes any sense, keep trying.

Didn't expect it to make sense to you, it was rational.

No, it was gobbledygook.

You have stated that the first amendment allows people to hold demonstrations even when it virtually assures a riot.
Further you have stated that people have by the same that whatever people want to do tp disrupt other peoples speech is there right.
Yet you do not admit that if the 1st lets you do that with peoples speech, thus denying that right to anyone with less thugs, that principal does not carry over to other rights in the 1st. You take things into small enough pieces and treat them as completely in a vacuum in such away to encourage the greatest amount of discourse possible. You don't seem to understand that
t is to fit together as a system. You try to sound so wise pretending that you can play each little piece against all the others.

You have also declared borders to be evil. Thus you can't belive that there is any defense for having nations, without borders you can't have a nation.

Here's the news, grumpy old bitch; you lost me and most of the audience when you tried to put this all on 'the liberals.'

Read the history yourself, you stupid old bitch.

Because it does. Read the fucking thing.

Bullshit strawman. Pay closer attention to what is actually said, rather than making shit up.

if all that was required was for people to "read the fucking thing" then we wouldn't have lawyers and judges whose job it is to help us interpret constitutionality contextually.

so---maybe stop saying "read the fucking thing" and use legal precedent and court cases to support your position (both of you actually).

No it doesn't. It assure the right to peaceable assembly, setting it up with an almost certain riot
violates this.
It also violates the idea that people have the right to break up said assembly. Thus the government has to provide a place for both sides
it is obligated to see to it that they can o so.

When the Nazis marched in south Chicago they could only do so with enough security to keep the peace.
There have been demonstrations scheduled in Ca of late were security kept antifa away so they burned nearby buildings.
Anything that is going to deteriorate into a riot violates peaceful assembly.

You can't have peaceful assembly with people attacking you with clubs car racks whatever. Thus her interpretation nullifies the 1st.

Musicmystery -> RE: Okay, if statues of southern gererals are promoting racism... (8/26/2017 11:52:40 AM)

Or by marching down the street shouting hate slogans while carrying firearms, torches, and Nazi flags.

I don't see how that disagrees with anything I said.
You must have wiped this from your memory but I have repeatedly stated that this case we would be
better off if both disappeared from the face of the earth.
However as long as they TAKE NO ACTION they have protection to be as stupid as they want.

Musicmystery -> RE: Okay, if statues of southern gererals are promoting racism... (8/26/2017 12:22:59 PM)

Then you have an odd notion of what peaceful means.

That they can march, legally, yes. Is that march peaceful? Fuck no.

Your standard seems to be "lack of actual violence." I'm sure you can think of a lot of unpeaceful moments in life that didn't involve actual violence.

So since the other side showed up with weapons too they also violated peaceful demonstrations.
After all the other side showed up to fight and you only see the one side of it.
I have had to pull a gun on a few people but never had to resort to violence.
I explained their options and they chose well.

Musicmystery -> RE: Okay, if statues of southern gererals are promoting racism... (8/26/2017 12:57:34 PM)

None of that makes them peaceful.

Again (are you really this dense?), marching down the street shouting hate slogans is not peaceful. It just isn't violent.

Adding firearms and Nazi flags isn't going to help.

No, but it is more peaceful than the people who came to attack them.
You are obsessed with the presence of firearms when not a single shot was fired, you don't even know
if the firearms were loaded.

You are the dense one, you don't seem to understand that I would like for them to go away.

Musicmystery -> RE: Okay, if statues of southern gererals are promoting racism... (8/26/2017 1:03:27 PM)

You seem to feel the actions of other people excuse one's actions.

Not peaceful, but other people weren't either, or were less peaceful, STILL doesn't make for a peaceful march.

It's entire POINT was hate, FFS.

...and of course the murder of a counter-protester.

Why do you have such a hard-on about defending Nazis spreading hate?

Free speech? OK, sure. Peaceful? Fuck no.

The people who didn't kill anybody by running them over, you mean?
Yeah, the nazis who drove a car through a crowd are much less violent than the antifa lot who claimed no casualties, obviously.

And the driver was disavowed by the Klan. Hate from both sides. Why are you to dense to understand
I can't stand either one, The more the Nazis get to talk the more friends they loose.
Why are you incapable of realizing there were no good guys?

Musicmystery -> RE: Okay, if statues of southern gererals are promoting racism... (8/26/2017 1:09:33 PM)

Oh. These were the good Nazis.

The peaceful ones singing Kumbaya.

Again, "peaceful" to you means "without violence."

There's a lot of unpeaceful experience before it turns violent.

And there's nothing peaceful about shouting hate slogans. Ever.

You missed the part were he was disavowed by everyone, and had no connection with any organization.
He should have been in jail due to the attacks he made against her.
The man who shot Republican Congressmen repeated anti republican propaganda but Dems weren't
responsible. Cop killers repeat BLMs websites but because they don't co-ordinate with them it isn't BLMs
fault. Why don't the same rules apply?

The Nazis shouting they hate N's isn't as violent as chanting pigs in a blanket.

Because the little shit did his thing at a rally that was staged to show the alt-right's unity in the face of liberal oppression. It's all about context.
