No... so does that mean he didn't actually say it? That he doesn't think he's being serious? That he actually understands the repercussions of such an action?
The thread title isn't 'OMG Trump is going to do this'.... it's 'Inarguably, The Stupidest President of All Time'.

Trump is an impotent president, a weak leader and a stupid person-- that is the point. He isn't a master negotiator, a cunning strategist, or even someone who deserves a modicum of respect.
No one is going to take this comment seriously-- not as a negotiation tactic, not as a threat, not as the word of someone who will ever be able to do anything about it.
It serves no purpose except to embarrass the country and prove once and for all that Americans are stupid enough to have elected a total moron, and some of them are still somehow sure he's great.

Of course DeVos is going to do a lot of damage, but if this nightmare ends in 2020, the education system needs a serious fucking boost.
I don't care if you have to put brain steroids in tap water, Americans cannot afford to be this stupid.

Yeah, I was a little distracted when I wrote that, was on my phone, and I still had Greta's post in my head... it was more a response to anyone who would defend this sort of thing.
