Maybe because 'hope and change' isn't quite the same thing as 'rapists and murderers/build the wall/blame Mexico, China, Islam, etc.'.

Ya...how'd that hopey changie thing work out?

I was saying that Obama, unlike Trump, didn't actually campaign as a racist.
That is why calling Obama a black supremacist sounds stupid, while calling Trump a white supremacist kinda fits.

Lol, if you didn't just regurgitate leftist pap you might be amusing. That's what you're going for isn't it?

I guess the president striking out at the cop who was following procedure....oh wait, different president different situation.

Pres. Obama later acknowledged that his words may have inflamed the situation and maybe he could have rephrased what he said. I guess saying that the cop acted stupidly was not the president at his best form. However, the issue at hand was racial profiling and the arrest of a citizen for being a loudmouth. The police were called to Prof. Gates home by third-party who thought she saw somebody trying to break in. But when the police got there they were confronted by the homeowner, Prof. Gates. The verbal interchange between Prof. Gates and Ofc. Crowley became heated and Crowley arrested Gates basically for being obnoxious. So I don’t see how Crowley was following procedure and just doing his job. Gates was a loudmouth and Crowley was a bully. And the president acknowledged that he should not have made the remark he made. When have we ever seen the current president acknowledged wrongdoing? Ha!

No VML, the police detained Gates for not following instructions. The cop was trying to determine if anyone was under duress as he'd been called in for a B&E. Ali Gates had to do was say, officer, I live here, here is my DL, I broke in because I lost my key. Zip zam boom the cop I out of his life. I think you're making up the whole he was a bully thing. That certainly didn't come out in the press reports.

Ill accept that. It is a dead issue and I really don't want to muck around with it.
