my point of course being that there are rights at stake, and no one to date has been able to show me any exceptions what so ever for da gubmint to regulate even a little bit religion, speech, arms, privacy, or keep the fact that a jury has the both the right and authority to not only try the facts, but also judge the law, and throw out even supreme court decisions by acquittal, one of the best kept judicial secrets in their negligence to properly inform jurys of their duty to their fellow man and country,.

You seem comfortable breaking the Eighth Commandment. "Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbour". You're willing to lie about your religious beliefs, citing an established religion, which says nothing about requiring abstinence from such events, or risking your immortal soul.

It's the abuses of people who claim religious superiority that makes religion so evil.

You evidently missed the verse i quoted from Ephesians.

I did. Sorry about that. Though I think you missed the point of the entire chapter, if not the entire Testament.

Sorry, like it or not in th e bible marriage is defined as dick+pussy, not dick+dick or pussy+pussy.

Simple 101 logic, if marriage is defined as dick+pussy -> it is not dick+dick or pussy+pussy.

Thats the way a definition works, it states what it includes to the exclusion of everything else.

What I posted is not a lie by any stretch of the imagination, you are justifying gay actions well it did not specifically say I couldnt so I can mentality and thats not the way language/grammar/sybtax etc works.

Thats like the mental giants who claim to be atheists but lack belief, complete fucking imbeciles.

btw you dont have the least fucking clue what my religious beliefs are LOL

He approaches his understanding of the teachings in the bible as if he were reading statutes, wants a huge list of everything he cant do, otherwise he assumes its ok. The bible isnt a book of statutes found at a law library that itemizes everything spells out every last minuscule detail.

Again if marriage is defined as 'man+woman', it goes without saying its not 'man+man', or 'woman+woman'.

Sounds to me that you like to pick your poison over someone else's poison. For many christians, things like believing abortion is ok is a belief that has been allowed to poison society. Same with homosexuality, etc.

Their ignorance isn't equal to society's reason.

That's just your opinion.

Obviously it is.
But it is a well-reasoned one.

Reason is a necessary instrument, to be used for good or evil, but it has no moral qualities.
REINHARD BENDIX, Embattled Reason

So?

It is good to point out that their 'morality' is based on premises that are certainly false.

Really? What premises are those?

Agggh what have I been saying this whole time?
The false premise on which they base their moral judgments is the notion that they know (but more accurately, control) God's will.

So should gay bakers be forced to bake a cake that says 'Gays are the evil spawn of satan', or cater any party advocating the same?

There are laws against hate speech and verbal assault.

What you are failing to recognize is that the gay marriage cake request in itself was not an attack on the baker, as they could never have predicted his reaction.
It is his fucked up beliefs that are the issue.

I have also already explained this.

Because no one can ever know the will of God, concluding that you DO know the will of God is a false premise.

AND AGAIN.

FIRST:
I already showed you that different churches interpret the Bible in a multitude of ways.
You immediately and inexplicably rejected the idea that there could be multiple interpretations of the text simply to help your argument.

So apparently these churches, all of which allow gay marriage, have no right to practice their religious beliefs simply because you say they are 'contorting' the Bible:

United Church of Christ
Jewish
Quaker
Metropolitan Community Church
Unitarian Universalist
Unity Church
Episcopal
Lutheran

But the thing is, the Bible has been edited, censored, altered and translated over and over.
So the Bible is useful, but not totally reliable... and it's a good thing, since it also supports slavery and various other unsavory/ridiculous things... none of which are defended by the churches with the same fervor as anti-gay/anti-gay marriage views.

SECOND:
It is impossible for mortal beings of limited comprehension to ever truly know God directly.
If some all-powerful being appeared, declared itself to be God, and started telling everyone what to do, there would be no way to know whether or not it was telling the truth.
This is why the only logical conclusion to be made is that churches actually organize people around the words of other people, and it is increasingly obvious that those people have political rather than spiritual goals in mind.

Ok... evidently you are all-knowing. You know the truth, and anyone who disagrees with you is wrong.

FFS... just because I know that people are wrong about something, it doesn't mean I know or claim to know everything.
I'm not saying I know God's will, I am saying that THESE PEOPLE DON'T KNOW IT EITHER.

You claims are based on your own limited beliefs and experiences.
