Here's some reading material for you.

https://www.gotquestions.org/know-God-will.html

So gotquestions.org has the definitive answer regarding God's will?
We're supposed to follow the Bible..... so whose interpretation of the Bible is correct?
How do you know it's correct?

Ok... evidently you are all-knowing. You know the truth, and anyone who disagrees with you is wrong.

FFS... just because I know that people are wrong about something, it doesn't mean I know or claim to know everything.
I'm not saying I know God's will, I am saying that THESE PEOPLE DON'T KNOW IT EITHER.

You claims are based on your own limited beliefs and experiences.

Yes, I know.
So are theirs.

This is how I know they don't know.

Why don't you go read a Bible and pray to God for discernment and see what happens.

Like I said... even if I prayed until I had visions of God telling me you are a fucking bitch and I am right about everything, there would be no way to truly know if it was actually God.

Okay, I just did.
It went exactly as expected.

Also, you have to do everything I say because God told me that's what has to happen now.
If you don't believe me, you will go to hell.

Also, anyone who gives you food, makes eye contact with you, or indulges you in any way is a sinner.

You shouldn't be making any judgments on something you haven't put the time, effort and an open mind to experience.

I really don't think you need time, effort or an open mind to discriminate against gay people.

Anything to avoid a little work. No surprise there.

LOL... yes, it's so difficult to do whatever your church leaders tell you to do.

I guarantee that the way this guy arrived at his beliefs went something like this:

Church: "Homosexuality is a sin and you shouldn't accept gay marriage."
Him: "Okay"

(Repeat for his entire life.)

Nope. No church leader needed. Anyways, you're too lazy to put any effort in but you'll spend al night talking and making assertions based on no experience, so basically you have zero credibility to be making judgments either way.

FFS now you're calling me lazy simply because I don't agree with you that right wing nutjobs have the final word on what God wants.

If you really think that my putting more effort into this will turn your losing argument into a winning one, why don't you demonstrate that you have a superior understanding here?

Attack my points.

So far, all I've seen is brief, one sentence replies that more often than not simply try to divert the discussion away from my argument instead of attacking it head on... talk about lazy. Or maybe you just don't understand?

Your argument is that no one is capable of discerning the Word of God and you base that argument on... nothing.

Several pages of argument later and you're still this oblivious?
And it's the WILL, not the word.

Unless you're part of a gnostic tradition, of which there are many in christianity, despite the catholic church's attempts to eradicate such heresies prior to the reformation.

That's just it... when the RWNJs on this board say 'Christians', they don't mean the full scope of Christianity, they mean the right-wing bigots who think they have a spiritual duty to vote Trump.
