Let's see . . .

Taking a knee during the National Anthem -- disrespectful, terrible, should be fired.
Marching with Nazi flags shouting racist slogans while carrying firearms -- just a routine protest.

Flat out reality, however much people want to howl...

It's entirely about racism.

... to you.

FR....very sad. (Not intended towards anyone).

These incipient players have inflamed 90+% of the population.

I've spun around on a variety of fb pages of NFL teams.....it's at least 95 to 5...against.

People that were once rabid fans are making their claim with vitriol....."make your voice heard elsewhere....happy to hear your voice...just...not here".

I think it's fairly clear what the general populace feels and...it's not a white male, or Republican, or conservative viewpoint.

It's just people....saying...."dude...it's football...the least of you on the roster have enough left over after rent and food....to make your point in any number of ways....just not here please".

Anyone that feels a need to bastardize this with "ohhhhh....you poor white people...you just can't handle it when the uppity..."....or whatever....it's just ridiculous. That ALONE is a racist comment.

No one goes to a bowling alley with the expectation that they have to spend the entire time with every 6th frame devoted to listening to someone elses diatribe....they just want to drink beer and try like hell to get 2 strikes in a game.

No one goes to a movie with the understanding that, just when the plot line gets interesting....there'll be a break with "the actors would like you to know what they think about Botswanna"....or seeing a LUMINESCENT insert in your JuJuBee's, demanding your attention for a similar interaction with the political left (or right).

ENOUGH!

MercTech -> RE: NFL owners, CEOs respond to Trump comments (9/30/2017 3:34:10 PM)

Rude, obnoxious, and disruptive is not a racial trait but a habit encouraged in a culture.

If you are a football fan that dislikes rude, obnoxious, and disruptive behavior by professional players; boycott the teams that allow it.

liberals are seriously pathetic. anytime a judgment is made in which a "person of color" doesn't get their way, or isn't agreed with, its raaaaaaaacism.

youd think itd get old after awhile, but it never does. they keep trotting it out over and over as easy and as mindless as breathing.

we should all be like hester Prynne from the scarlet letter and just walk around with big R's on our chests.

No, a bunch of people who decided to make an issue of this inflamed (I doubt 90%. I doubt 30%).

Y'all could have shaken your heads, noting you can do that in America, sang the anthem, and enjoyed the game.

Nope. Petty micro-management. Alert the media.

Y'all need some real problems.

I'm not the one making a huge deal of this.

I don't understand why the rest of you are either.

Yawn. Go find some actual problems.

Btw, a big R would be redundant when you can't construct a sentence without whining about Libburls.

quote:

In 2015, a police officer was 18.5 times more likely to be killed by a black male than an unarmed black male was to be killed by a police officer. Black males have made up 42 percent of all cop-killers over the last decade, though they are only 6 percent of the population. That 18.5 ratio undoubtedly worsened in 2016, in light of the 53 percent increase in gun murders of officers—committed vastly and disproportionately by black males.

A far right web site (but it's a black far right dude!) publishing an article by a blatantly biased writer quoting other seriously right-biased writers in claiming that a federal police organization exonerates all other police organizations of any serious wrongdoing constitutes irrefutable proof of . . . something. Do I have that right? And misinterpreting/misreading statistics, another old standby, always works.

-The gist of it all being: "Well, black criminals don't always behave responsibly, so how can we expect police to behave responsibly?"-

As demonstration of logical incoherence, complete denial of reality, and wilful ignorance in service to wishful thinking,

you're right; it doesn't get any clearer than this.

From herman cain now? Will you factless propagandists and lapdogs of your communist master put up numbers from herman cain as anything other than rightwing hallucinations?

This is wonderful, though; likely... let us let that go for a minute.

Show me black people killed by police officers in 2015. Never mind, as you are too ignorant, I will do it for you.

https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2015/dec/31/the-counted-police-killings-2015-young-black-men

Now, I will give you the easy part of your proof. List the 20,998 police officers killed by black men in 2015. Can you do the maths?

What is likely here, is that we wont see that list.

Do not be innumerate and factless in public, you are stupid and it won't ever work to your advantage.

It won't be the last time you're wrong, either.

Some of the actions don't even have negative connotations or lead to accusations of racism, and there's a difference between behaving a certain way because you are uncomfortable with people who are different from you and behaving that way for practical reasons.

All of this 'we r so persecuted' BS is so fucking annoying.
Even if it were true, white people still have all the power so surely there are more important things to talk about.

RWNJ 'news' has a habit of making celebrities and leaders out of 'lefties' that nobody even gives a shit about, simply because their arguments are weak enough to make fun of. If they were interested in anything more than making you feel good about yourself and reinforcing your bully mentality, they would be attacking the strongest arguments.

But they won't, because it scares them.

bounty44 -> RE: NFL owners, CEOs respond to Trump comments (11/2/2017 4:56:19 AM)

never mind fool that herman cain is black, quoted the fbi statistics and you actually didn't post anything that responded specifically to what was said...

curious----WD trying to sound like mnottertroll?

or mnottertroll trying to escape moderation? or maybe even Thompson?

either way, your inability to reason and detachment from reality preclude a serious response.

or you can spend some time paying attention:

the article wasnt written by cain, and the article doesnt link directly to actual fbi or any statistics...
just to help you out whether its made up numbers or not...

here you go, here is the page regarding race of people who killed cops

https://ucr.fbi.gov/leoka/2016/officers-feloniously-killed/felonious_topic_page_-2016

Profile of alleged known assailants

for more direct statistics from the horses mouth as it were...
And for the general statistics on crime, for 2016 from the FBI
https://ucr.fbi.gov/crime-in-the-u.s/2016/crime-in-the-u.s.-2016/tables/table-11
Better to have the correct statistics eh?
