Again, one of the only things you can post of value. Not on topic and having no point, but it seems to get you hard. Good on you.

When you explain how the Iranian theocracy was using Syria to channel money to fundamentalist terrorists while the Shah was still in power, you might deserve something better than memes and mockery, nancy.

And personally if he wasn't guilty, he would just deny the allegations. Why admit it and apologise?
He has at the very least admitted to a very offensive joke.

I'll try one last time:

The apology was for the bad joke, not for any inappropriate touching. Read the fucking article that you posted (or the actually apology I pulled from it for you).

Kinda like talking to a brick wall, isnt it? 😊

JustOneWay -> RE: HW Bush also sexually assault someone while in a wheel chair? (10/25/2017 10:17:49 AM)

Greta75 is probably correct in her conclusions - One for her I feel.

This is the key to the article
Responding to the allegations, a spokesperson for President Bush said: “President Bush would never – under any circumstance – intentionally cause anyone distress, and he most sincerely apologizes if his attempt at humor offended Ms Lind.”

Do I have to explain all of this? Christ on a bike!

1. He was 89 at the time
2. Sharp as a tack he is not
3. His brain functions differently
4. He told a random stranger disgusting joke
5. He fucking touched her
6. No denial was issued…Christ grrrr.

Wayward5oul -> RE: HW Bush also sexually assault someone while in a wheel chair? (10/25/2017 10:19:48 AM)

Sounds to me like he was referring to the joke causing distress, he never mentioned anything about touching.

JustOneWay -> RE: HW Bush also sexually assault someone while in a wheel chair? (10/25/2017 10:29:12 AM)

No!
Or no then yes, to be pedantic...they were very particular about what statement they issued.
There are two distinct statements. For them to issue those there must also be proof, somewhere.

Is senility, dementia, loss of one’s marbles a defense. Yup.

It's news, why wouldn't FOX report the news. Right now it's a he said she said thing. If he is so bad that a Secret Service guy actually told the actress she made a mistake standing near him, I'm betting twenty more women will stand up and complain. I'll also bet that if none do, Barbara's eye roll was directed at the actress and not HW.

I'm reminded by my brother that when he went through the police academy, it taught that statistically 80% of these types of accusations made by women were not true and were generally made to get attention. I'm sure, whether or not that statistic is true, it's no longer politically correct to teach, so it isn't. But, it doesn't change the nature of those seeking attention.

Secret Service likely told her that she shouldn't have gotten so close to #41, because THAT'S KINDA THEIR FUCKING JOB. They exist to keep #41 safe from all threats.

Good point. Although she appeared to use the statement as proof of her claim.

You do realise, what I said and what you quoted that I said is EXACTLY the same thing? That he at the very least admitted to the "dirty joke" part. Obviously she wasn't lying or he would refute her statement.

No, Greta. What you said was:

HW Bush also sexually assault someone while in a wheel chair?

and:

I'm glad the old man apologised!

But seriously!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

In a wheel chair? While beside his wife?

What is this world coming to!

and what I quoted was:

Do you "play dumb" just to get attention?

I know you think your English skills are top-notch, but your reading comprehension sucks ass (and not in that fun, friendly way).

No I don't play dumb.
An apology for his dirty joke and not refuting the claims that he inappropriately touched is obviously just trying to defuse the situation that he knows actually happened.

Infact, what I said was, it is decent he apologised. Rather than be in full denial about it.

JVoV -> RE: HW Bush also sexually assault someone while in a wheel chair? (10/25/2017 7:29:00 PM)

Touching someone is not sexual harassment.

Jokes do not have to be sexual in nature to be offensive or inappropriate. Or to make Mama Bush roll her eyes. She's been married to the man for 800 years, she's heard all of his jokes; even the ones he learned from Bubba.

#41 was never alone with the woman, so there should be witnesses to corroborate her story, or a bunch of confused people that have no fucking clue what she's talking about because nothing happened at the event for them to remember.

They were posing for pictures. It is quite natural to put your arm around someone when doing that, and still not sexual.

Obviously this woman didn't appreciate being touch. It would be sexual harassment in my country but the criminal term we use for it which is a jailable term is called "Outrage of woman's modesty". But yes, I know molesting a woman is perfectly legal in the US. It would have to be rape for it to get anywhere. And I feel sorry for this woman that she got molested by an old man in a wheel chair, but everyone thinks she is over-reacting instead when she felt violated.

It's just all these entitlement men have that they think they have the right to touch any woman they want. Like treat women like inanimate objects. And he made it extra uncomfortable for her by refusing to shake her hand, and then making dirty jokes which he thought was funny. And because he is an ex President on a wheelchair, he probably been doing it except, most women decide to just shrug it off and let it slide.

Good on this woman for speaking out.

I certainly would never touch a man without his permission. Not even for photo taking.

JVoV -> RE: HW Bush also sexually assault someone while in a wheel chair? (10/25/2017 8:06:25 PM)

Obama rarely shook hands. You don't think an elderly man that's had health issues would be more concerned about germs than a much younger, healthier guy?

She posted a picture of Obama shaking WH Bush hands, saying that, the Bush refused to shake her hand. And then to add insult to injury, dirty joke and inappropriate touching.

I don't know how okay it is for Presidents to put their arms around other women when photo taking though.

I will have to look at some Obama pictures to see his actions with other women. I don't think he touches other women.

Edit: I looked and he did have several pictures where he put his arms around women who take picture with him, at the shoulders. Which is the safest place to be. WH Bush was probably at her bum level as he is sitting down and she is standing. It's just inappropriate place.

Greta75 -> RE: HW Bush also sexually assault someone while in a wheel chair? (10/25/2017 8:35:25 PM)

Btw DS, HW Bush has admitted to touching her bum.

http://edition.cnn.com/2017/10/25/entertainment/heather-lind-george-bush-harassment/index.html

"At age 93, President Bush has been confined to a wheelchair for roughly five years, so his arm falls on the lower waist of people with whom he takes pictures," McGrath said. "To try to put people at ease, the president routinely tells the same joke — and on occasion, he has patted women's rears in what he intended to be a good-natured manner. Some have seen it as innocent; others clearly view it as inappropriate. To anyone he has offended, President Bush apologizes most sincerely."

So I just want to say that clearly this woman told the exact truth and WH Bush spokesperson verified it.

Because usually if a man is wrongly accuse of molesting a woman. His first reaction would be anger and outrage and refuting it! Not humble apology.

Here is the picture where he put his hands behind her bum.
