Yes, I did. You have unsubstantiated opinions that have nothing to do with anything. The teacher cannot write off pencils (that is a business expense) if the shitlog passes. The tax plan is a pure shithole wrapped in shit, and baked into a shit pie.

Now you sound like Jim Lahey, Sunnyvale Trailer Park Supervisor.

The pencils is not a business expense for the teacher. The teacher does not have to buy pencils or other items for his/her students. As I said, the school should be the one providing those things, as the school is the business, and it would be a business expense for the school.

Then the tax plan needs less military and more education.

Still fail.

This is a change in your replies DS. I have history and the facts behind me, therefore I am not being partisan at all and simply wonder where all of this fiscal conservatism is. Debt in 2001 $5.6 trillion. Debt on 2008 $13 trillion.
No tax cuts ever increases revenue unless you lower cap gains which Bush did and as I've stated before, results in a short term windfall on those gains, now realized because of the discount. Those mere billion$ in that 'windfall' put no dent into the trillion$ of borrowing.
Even in a lecture delivered by a writer for National Review, asked how is it that people should vote for repubs because they were small govt., fiscally sound ? When in the last 40 or more years have these people when in power, ever shown us that they are small govt., fiscal conservatives ?
They haven't and still aren't.

Are you saying the OMB.gov History Budget spreadsheet isn't facts? Your response to the increase in revenues is to point out that the budget deficit increased. I acknowledged that spending saw and "incredible increase," which helps explain why the deficit went up even though revenues went up.

If you're going to pivot to deflect from the actual discussion, I'd rather know now so I can just ignore your responses.

My source was the US Treasury so I guess our sources conflict or without a link to that OMB.gov, I can't tell.

Fixes what?

curious how a fellow, supposedly in the uk cares about the republican tax plan...hmm?

Maybe since Thatcher he feels that the UK elites and their policies like the US, is still motivated much more by greed and rhetorically rationalized greed by claiming such falsehoods proven as such throughout history that, such policies create jobs, tax cuts increase revenue for which of course, no such mathematical formula exists and the jobs if any...go somewhere else.

Simply your (unsubstantiated) opinion.

And the CBO's opinion as well, but what do they know...

A citizen CAN write off legitimate business expenses.
(but under this plan, no longer)

How do you figure a citizen can't write off legitimate business expenses? Did you not actually watch, read, and/or listen to the video you linked to?

Citizens can hire them self out, make things, resell things etc. and all on a 'Trading As' basis, file through a 1099 and deduct those 'legitimate business' expenses. I did all of the time. May again someday. Did they take that away ? I don't see it.

Still better off as an LLC which is basically the same (with the same write-offs) but with yep, you guessed it...Limited Liability. The ONLY reason that type of business was created.

Only as much as they did when they explained (profusely) that Obama's economic / health care....etc. plans...made no sense.

It's not really the Federal Government's mandate to fund all school costs, is it? Plus, tax reform bills don't change spending targets.

But, you're right, you sure did fail.

Lazy much?

As I mentioned before, I posted the link to the Historical spreadsheet earlier in this thread. Here is in Post #80, and I even included Total revenues from 2000-2009!

MasterDrakk -> RE: New GOP Tax Plan (11/14/2017 4:00:52 PM)

at the very least you have no causality nor do you have correlation to any tax cut. For that to occur the tax cut would be bringing in revenue still today, all you see there is war money, and war borrowing which we are paying for today. and you saw it drop again when bills started to come due, and the mission was accomplished and W got shoes thrown at him on his victory tour, leading to a void in the markets and employment, so we hand some corporation a trillion dollars and it bumps the revenue a tenth, and 90% is lost and still being paid for and burdening debt today.

Do you have proof that the increased revenues we are still seeing have nothing to do with the tax cuts? If so, please cite.

I'm not sure why you continue on with "war money," "war borrowing," and/or spending. Tax reform is about revenues and not spending. I didn't mention in my last response that I agree with cutting defense spending. But, that's still not the point of tax reform. That would be spending reform. They're different, hence the different words (which you might be able to figure out due to the different letters used).

MasterDrakk -> RE: New GOP Tax Plan (11/14/2017 6:10:31 PM)

you made the extraordinary claim. you cite.

I gave you the first proof, in that the tax cuts did not continue producing revenue, as they would have if that was the effect, since the taxes are the same.

I'll take that as a 'no.'

According to the OMB.Gov spreadsheets, the taxes aren't the same.

MasterDrakk -> RE: New GOP Tax Plan (11/15/2017 3:50:52 AM)

i will take your lack of causality correlation and citation as a very firm no, there is no proof whatsoever of any of the mad theory that the tax reductions have ever worked to build revenues, but it is some useless bollocks that you love to repeat.
Your unsubstantiated opinion has been cited as unsubstantiated opinion by none other than yourself.
