Before we get to that, there's this as prologue;

Meeting with “Chuck and Nancy” today about keeping government open and working. Problem is they want illegal immigrants flooding into our Country unchecked, are weak on Crime and want to substantially RAISE Taxes. I don’t see a deal!
— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump)November 28, 2017

Well yeah, that's how to precede an important meeting which is to determine the immediate functionality of the biggest industrial and political entity in the world. Show everybody how serious you are by talking like a 15 yr. old brat on twitter just beforehand.

But the other instance of booger-picking and flicking it right on the dinner table, subject of the OP, is this gem;

-On Monday, [Trump] stood in front of a portrait of President Andrew Jackson to thank World War II Navajo code talkers, using the opportunity to mock a senator who claimed Cherokee descent, by using a Powhatan name.

“I just want to thank you because you’re very, very special people,” Trump said, after a characteristically vague and nearly meaningless description of the role played by the men, who during World War II served in the Marines, using native languages as a code that the Japanese couldn’t break. Then he added: “You were here long before any of us were here, although we have a representative in Congress who, they [sic] say, was here a long time ago. They (meaning Trump himself) call her ‘Pocahontas.’”

That is, of course, Trump’s favorite nickname for Senator Elizabeth Warren of Massachusetts, who described herself as part Cherokee earlier in her career.

According to a pool reporter, Trump’s comment was met with silence in the room.-

When it comes to effecting change from being the most powerful nation in the world to being the most awkward behemoth in the world, this guy is just killing it. Absolutely getting the job done.

No.

Well, OK, for Trump, but no one else I've come across.

Read the whole article to learn which first people's nation and language in which that name was used.

Trump's ignorant use of the name is like calling a black person "Sambo," and imagine him saying in front of MLK's family.

Which is essentially what happened here.

The names "Sambo" and "Pocahontus" et. al were real names among their peoples, etc. The point is that one particular name was in either case (is, in Trump's case) selected for use in context of ethnic derision, one name to describe "them."

There is just no way Trump's PR handlers can deal with such a wacko by way of anticipation.

They can say "here's this group visiting today, it would be best if you don't say certain words or certain things, if it's about honoring them, for just ten minutes."

Trump;

"Fine. You don't want me to flick my boogers on the table. For just five minutes.

You didn't say anything about flicking a monster booger right in their face, did you?"

"Ha Ha!"

Not a job I'd want.

There we have it, folks, direct from the proud bastard descendant of a Groom of the Royal Dogs' Close Stool. Straight from the bitch's ass, like the one he cleaned even before being shat out of as a dog's enema gone wrong.

Thank you for your concession speech, ronnie.

What is your fixation with 'ronnie'? Some few dogs are intent on sniffing arse relentlessly at any opportunity, but this is getting ridiculous. My nick has never been anywhere close to that, nor any others' call-out to that effect.

Did you call all your dog girlfriends that, or they call you that?

Ronnie

You think every ass you stick your long nose into is your first love, any and all them evoking from you; 'ronnie, oh, ronnie . . . "

In better "News and History," Sacagawea contributed to American exploration and mapping of the West with minimal damage to any party (the big damage was to come later), in the first place by way of keeping them from starving when she showed them what roots to eat when all the elk ran off and the Euro-American's standard 'healthy diet' of meat/bread/potatoes wasn't there for awhile. Also kept them from getting killed by their own innate belligerence in stumbling attempts at relation with various tribes of natives along the way. The Euro-Americans tried to be nice, honestly. It just didn't come naturally to them, nor to some of the tribes, either. Had a newborn as she met up with them, and did all that.

Arguably the first UN translator, even if 130+ years before that institution, when considering all the cultural and language difficulties she waded through for the explorers.

Nah. I've just decided that every person who has:

1) Lied about me
2) said horrific things about me
3) pissed on the memory of my son, multiple times

from now, on, as far as I am concerned, will be called: "ronnie" call it an homage to the original.

I reported you, accusing me of bestiality, by the way.

Buh-bye

It's not a lie that you insult and use ugly terms on a regular basis, in this case for a significant person in American history. You read publications based on how big a lie they scream, how loud they scream it, etc.

So if you're trying to go for anything even resembling honesty or, heaven forbid, remotely like integrity, . . . Just. Stop.

But in numerous other instances also. I was just giving back what you "contributed" there, and accurately describing the the kind of sicko who would refer to Pocahontas with that term you volunteered.

Last I heard, being shat out of a dog's ass, like you obviously were, is not considered as "bestiality." But given your warped mind, it wouldn't surprise me if you considered that as 'having sex,' ergo "bestiality."

Have at it with the moderators. I'm sure they'll listen to you, after seeing what you called Pocahontas.

BTW, most of us had numerous BF/GF experiences at least a few years before sex came along, even if your experience was different. With whatever.

He can't believe that a large number of people see him as full of crap so he has decided that they are all socks of one banned troll.

Reality works that way for Trumpanzees.

Everything else is fake news.

Isn't there a story about Buffy Saint-Marie punching a hack from a music magazine because he called her that in the early '70s?

All this time, I was only looking for flattering recognition of my great alliterative skill in coming up with the thread title, and now Lucy want's to talk all this "substantial issues" stuff.

If you insist . . .

You people attend to this far better than I, but it's getting to where I can't see if Trump is still running for office or been elected yet.

To your point, it seems that all his current bumfumbling ills can be overcome (to his brief estimation) by being more vociferously bumfumbling.

The world awaits to see how this "getting out of the hole by drilling deeper" thing is going to work out, here.

Or when the stupid fuck is ever going to realise that ~ 3/4 of the voters never had use for him in the first place, and that noticeably fewer who voted for him out of desperation want anything to do with him now. So here we are, the administration having support of the "True Believers!"

Native Americans Outraged Over Trump ‘Pocahontas’ Comments
WASHINGTON —
Native Americans have taken to social media to criticize President Donald Trump for using a racial slur during a Monday White House ceremony honoring Fleming Begaye, Thomas Begay, and Peter MacDonald, three of the 13 Navajo Code Talkers still living.

http://www.latimes.com/nation/la-na-pocahontas-native-history-20171128-htmlstory.html
Trump's 'Pocahontas' swipe raises the long history of problems between the government and Native Americans
When President Trump called Democratic Sen. Elizabeth Warren “Pocahontas” this week during a ceremony honoring Navajo war veterans, he didn’t just ignite a controversy over whether he used a racial slur against an opponent.

Trump also reopened a broader conversation about the federal government’s uneasy relationship with, and abusive treatment of, Native Americans. It’s a history that included mass killings and efforts to strip tribes of their land, language and culture. More recently conflicts have shifted to cultural and legal fights over property rights, mascots and and casinos.

“Trump is not alone in making insensitive comments or doing insensitive or downright horrible things that hurt American Indians,” said the Rev. John Norwood, general secretary of the Alliance of Colonial Era Tribes. “There is a growing awareness of the history of indigenous Americans, but the insensitivity toward them still is incredibly prevalent.”

President used word to mock Democratic opponent at event honouring Native Americans

President Trump's use of "Pocahontas" as an insult during a ceremony honoring Native Americans on Monday set off a range of reactions about whether the term's racially insensitive.

In this case, Native American leaders said, it was.

John Norwood, general secretary of the Alliance of Colonial Era Tribes, told NBC News Trump's use of the name to mock Sen. Elizabeth Warren "smacks of racism."

“The reference is using a historic American Indian figure as a derogatory insult and that’s insulting to all American Indians,” Norwood told the network, adding that Trump should "stop using our historical people of significance as a racial slur against one of his opponents.”

Navajo Nation: President’s comment at ceremony ‘culturally insensitive’
After the event, the Navajo Nation released a statement calling the president’s words “culturally insensitive”.

“In this day and age, all tribal nations still battle insensitive references to our people. The prejudice that Native American people face is an unfortunate historical legacy,” said a statement by Navajo Nation President Russell Begaye. “As Native Americans, we are proud people who have taken care of this land long before there was the United States of America and we will continue to fight for this Nation.”

Begaye added: “It was our code talkers that ensured the freedom of the United States, and that’s what is important to remember here.”
